Quick fit question on the Spikes. I understand that you should get the size that you normally get in Levi's, but for the Spikes which Levi's would that be? The 511?

To add more context to my question, I'm more concerned with the fit of the thighs more than that of the waist, which is why I'm asking which Levi's model it most closely compares to. 511? 510? Something else?

I'm interested in the Iron Heart IH 8301s SBG. If I was a 34 in the IH 301s-07BK, would I also be a 34 in the IH 8301s SBG? I ask because the waist measurements between the two are very different on the Self Edge website. If not, what size would you recommend?

Also, are you guys planning on getting any other overdyed jeans anytime soon?

Hi Kiya, for the Iron Heart 634s-B Overdyed, do you recommend I get a 33 or a 34? I wear 34 in the Flat Heat 1001's.

Also, do the 634s-B Overdyed require an initial soak, or are they good to go?

Can anyone out there help me check if this LVC Denim Jacket is fake or legit? It's supposed to be a 1967 Type III. Didn't come with a LVC booklet, the pricetag looks off, the capital E red tab has "LEVI'S" again on the back of the tab such that it shows the right way when the left chest pocket is up. I don't know enough about this to know if it's real or not. Here's some pictures:

I noticed the in the pics for the Iron Heart shirts it says "Wear as long as possible without washing!"

Is this the standard procedure on all shirts that Self Edge sells? (Denim, flannel, chambray, etc.) And what's the usual for how long before washing?

Quick question, couldn't find the answer doing a quick search on this thread. For the Flat Head Houndstooth shirts, what's the care instructions for that? Cold machine wash and air dry?

Also, do you guys plan on getting more of the Sugar Cane tan belts anytime soon (without the rivets)?

I ordered a pair of LVC 1947's from Cultizm (blank top button) and they just came in today. They're tagged size 34w and I'm wondering what size they'll end up at post soak and at post stretch. I measured all the way around the inside of the waist of the jeans and it was indeed 34 inches raw.

To compare, I have a pair of recent regular 501 STF's that are tagged size 34w. I don't have pre soak or post soak measurements, but as they stand now after one soak and stretching, it's close to a 36 inches measuring all the way around the inside of the waist of the jeans. I'm assuming these are vanity tagged? Anyways, they fit a bit loose and thus lower than I'd like them to sit.

As far as the LVC 1947's, they fit pretty well raw where I'd wear them, but I can take them smaller if need be or even wear them higher. I actually have a decent amount of leeway in either direction. Do you think after a warm soak and then stretching out, they'll get back to their raw size, or smaller or bigger? To soak, I'm planning on wearing them in the tub, squatting the water out, and wearing them out to dry.

Not going to start wearing these or soak them for a few weeks at least, but I'll post some pics and measurements when I start them off.
