I bought these from BSR on SZ, but unfortunately they are too big. They are in great shape and the color is really unique. Probably best if you wear EU42 or US9.

I kept mine with a bit more stack than that, it'll soften up in a month or so. It'll work out fine. Depending on how you wash, expect shrinkage all over.

thanks! your s003jp-a is looking good, i love the combs and fades. samurais have some of the best vertical fades among japanese raw denim.

i'll only be able to rock these 2-3 days a week because i have a corp job, so it's gonna be awhile before i have any fading.

i got them hemmed to the same inseam as my skulls and added another 0.5" to allow for additional shrinkage. i personally don't like too much stacking, but i also don't want my ankles to show if i'm sitting down. the leg opening on these is pretty narrow (7").

what do you guys think of the stacking? i was thinking earlier about taking off another 1" from the hem, but now i'm leaning toward just keeping them as they are.

the denim they used for these is really sick. it has this irregular color texture from the washi paper weft. i'll try to take some close-ups with my d300 another time because my iphone won't do it justice.

glad to see some 0500xx love on this thread. i bought my second pair of samuaris recently, so i took the occasion to take a few pics of my 0500xx. i've been wearing skull 5010xx the past couple years, but they don't fade nearly as nice as samurai denim does.

0500xx, lot 10, ~ 3 washes, jan 2008 ~ june 2010, probably < 1 yr actual wear. back right pocket was repaired once by self edge.

s003jp-a, lot 14, one hot soak. just got these back from hemming at self edge.

bi-fold wallet in natural leather with red leather overlay. ring for wallet chain, six single card slots, snap coin purse, guitar pick holder, slit pocket behind coin purse, and large bill compartment. Brogue skull on both sides, punched through to the bill compartment.

this wallet has aged very nicely and is still in great shape. you will get a nice back pocket fade from the raised red leather overlay (see pic from my own 5010xx).
