I think mine were raw but I'm not sure. It's nearly 18 years ago since I started wearing them. I only remember that they were stiff. BTW, if you want to see some 90's Evisu jeans and jackets "in action", watch the video of 'Fastlove' from George Michael.

Thanks for the comments and I have to say, I completely agree. As much as I would love Jap denim on my doorstep it keeps the riffraff out and it looks like it shall remain that way for the foreseeable future. peace evisu lovers.

Why is it so difficult to buy japanese denim in the UK and beyond? quite clearly a market is established for it - i just can't understand why 

it is most certainly a country i must visit - mixed reports on how expensive it is to take a 2 week break. A mate of mine went skiing to Japan from the UK and said it really wasn't that much more than London prices.

i bought them on ebay - the guy selling them had his dad bring them back from a business trip but I can't recall if it was Japan or Paris. What I like about them is that I've not seen another pair :-)
