quick question

i have a pair of 1967 505's, but i was curious to know is that the slimmest pair in lvc available? im only interested in dry/raw denim

also a friend of mine is looking for a WWII model of 501xx lvc with the painted arcs, are those even made in the lvc? also only looking for a dry/raw model

someone with stitching skills needs to offer thier service by making the original arcs on the new flat heads, its easy to take off the wierd design they tried to add with the old snake tounge, then all you need to do is stitch on half a levis wing arc

im aware of the lawsuit, the whole reason why japanese denim that is imported into the united states doesnt have tabs and some dont have arcs

what my question is, what is the difference between the flat heads that are sold from 2nd or any other japanese website compared to a pair i can pick up from self edge?

from what i can see there is no difference, the arcs are the same and neither have a red tab

now i know 2nd still carrys a few old styles with the old arcs and red tab, but im interested in knowing mainly the difference between a pair of 1001's from 2nd and from self edge

quick question. are the flat heads that are sold in japan the same as the ones imported into the united states?

i know with samurais the ones in japan have the red tab and arcs when the us version doesnt,

i also know that there are the older versions of flat heads with red tab and old arcs but im talking about the ones that are out and being made now with the new arcs on the pockets, are they the same for japan and us?

So I was looking at the 2ndxSamurai 710s on the 2nd website and became very interested... I have a friend going to Japan in 2 weeks or so who may be able to pick something up for me. Does anyone have any info on these jeans? From what babelfish said I think they are a limited run of 100 but surprisingly affordable for such a limited run? Also are they black or blue? - I can't really tell from the pics.

s710xx 2nd 15oz will not be avalible untill early february

So after reading the whole Samurai thread from page 1, I have a few questions.

Im about to order a pair of s710xx and s710bk from 2nd and im im curious to know if any of you who have ordered these jeans from them recently have gotten either lot 10 or 11? I suppose I can just ask them to send me lot 11

The thing im really confused about is the sizing and i need some help, I hope someone can help me out. im naturally a size 28 actually like 28 and 3/4ths and I bought the apcs new standards in size 26 and they stretched to a 29 by me wearing them on my hips. my thighs and legs in general are pretty skinny and my apc ns's had a loose slim fitting ( not sure if thats even a way to describe how jeans fit) and if the 710s are a little bit slimmer I wont mind, but im not looking for a skin tight slim fit jean just something slim fitting. here are a few pictures of the new standards:

Im not sure if I should order the 710s in size 28 or 29, im looking for a slim fit that’s not skin tight, so im thinking I should go with size 28. also from reading the whole samurai thread i know how annoying it is when people ask about "what size to get" questions so i apologize ahead of time. so can someone please give me some advice?

S0610LX and S001P is a step towards the slippery slope. Samurai's strenght and weakness is their being progressive, as well as innovative. i think they're flirting with commercial viability. but, so far, they've managed to strike a balance [w/c others would preceive as compromise] between keeping their identity and "stirring the pot" of possibilities--- they got such an intersting arsenal of fabrics and accessories. they've never pretended to be a hard-to-the-core repro company anyway. theirs is an outfit that melds esthetics, quality, and playful sensibility to their designs.

unfortunely, we'd like to keep our favorite indie band to ourselves... not blow up out of obscurity.

from what i heard samurai no longer makes the S0610LX, it was just a one time limited edition jean

can someone please post up post soak 710 BiG style measurements for size 28 and 29?

The chart on the first page says for a slim fit size down 1 on the S0500, anyone here can vouch for that?

Yeah. My sz 28 610's have stretched to be almost 32 inches in the waist. Pretty ridiculous.

29 in the 710xx and 710bk? Thats what I was thinking, i wasnt sure if the indigo and black denim fit the same thats why I asked.

how about the 610lx, they only come in 28 or 30?

I’m about to pick up a few pairs of samurais and not sure witch size I should get in each. Im looking at picking up a pair of the s0610lx, s710xx, and a pair of the s710bk. I know this is more jeans than I need but im going buy them from 2nd and don’t feel like paying the shipping cost each time, so just wanted to pick up all 3 pairs at once.

At the moment im wearing a pair of apc ns tag size 26, I measured them by the chart on BiG

Waist – 29 inches

Front rise – 10 inches

Back rise – 13 inches

Upper thigh – 22 inches

Inseam - 34.5 inches

Knee – 15.75 inches

Leg opening – 14.5 inches

Here are a few pictures of me wearing the new standards, I know they virtually have no wear that’s because I pretty much lost interest in wearing them after I saw a pair of samurais in flesh, and the quality was unbeatable and have been looking into getting a few pairs since.

Im looking to get the same fit in the 610lx, 710xx and the 710bk’s, not skin tight but just a slim fit that’s not too baggy. If someone on here could please help me out that would be great and I would highly appreciate it

I am about to order 3 pairs of samurais the s710xx,s710bk and a pair of the s0610lx. my true waist size is 29, im not looking for a skin tight fight with these jeans just something slim fit with still a little leg room. im pretty much looking for the same fit with all 3 pairs, I was thinking of getting the s710xx and s710bk in a 29 but not sure. also not sure witch size to get the s0610lx in, 28 or 30? if some of you guys can help me out that would be great. from what i read about the s710 im thinking i should go with my true waist size if i want a slim fit, but dont know if i should maybe size down for the bk's. someone help
