  1. My KMW 1980's (tagged 30) are exactly what I want in a pair of jeans, aside from the gigantic back pockets/seat which don't compliment my cracker ass very well. I am wondering if the F380 would be a similar fit, and if so, how would you size them? (The guy from flat-head.co.uk suggested if my natural waist is 31", to go with that tagged size).

  2. Are these any different than the F380's sold on flat-head.co.uk? I ask because they sell them for $245 shipped anywhere and well...I guess I'll leave it at that.

This still stands. I'm interested but wouldn't be able to purchase these until next month because of financial reasons.

  3. The first digit of the Flat Head models designates type of denim used. The last digit designates the cut. Hence the F380 (formerly 3008) and the F310 (formerly 3001) use the same denim, but different cuts. The F310 is a slim straight cut, the F380 is a classic straight cut.

I don't think shego sized up two. When he said he wore 32 in APC's, I think he included the stretch factor for their denim (2 inches), as most people size down 2 for APC. So, 34" would be his true waist. As mentioned, the F380 is a classic straight cut so it is intended to be more relaxed than slim.

Ah ha, thanks for clearing that up!

  4. This is where I'm confused. I thought the F380 was supposed to be their "narrow" straight fit, while the 5000 line suggests a more relaxed fit. With that said, was sizing up 2 the reason shego's jeans look so baggy, or is that because of the cut itself?

  5. I'm a smaller guy and I currently am wearing a pair of APC NS size 30, and a pair of Skull 5010XX in 31 (not simultaneously haha), and I'm looking for something new. I really dig the F380's, but I haven't seen any good pictures of people with a similar build wearing them. Can anybody help me out?

Also, I'll snap a few pictures tonight of me in both pairs of said denim and you guys can give me your two cents. Already I can tell you that I bought these APC's secondhand, and they had already been soaked/hemmed. When I first got them they fit perfectly, but I lost a bit of weight especially in my waist/thighs and now they are just too big. With my Skulls, I thought I was in to the cut, but it's just too slim around the knee's/leg opening for me.

  6. I have an appointment with a stylist tomorrow afternoon, should I pull the trigger and work towards the Hitlerjugend, or go for something more conservative? Please keep in mind I work in the oil/gas industry, which is fairly conservative (even though my bosses are not) but I don't have to wear a suit or any thing like that.

Also, I know it's not long enough for that exact haircut, but like I said, I could start working towards it by getting it cut short on the sides and right below(?) the crown. I'd also thin out the top too because my hair is fairly thick. Speaking of, don't they use a straight razor to do that?

  7. I just got these (secondhand) 5050xx's size 31. They are a tad larger in the waist than I was expecting, but it's not really a big deal. My only other complaint is that they are a little slim around the knees. I usually wear sized up 1 APC NS's so this was a bit of a change that I felt I really wanted. Also, I'm about 5'8", do you guys think I should get them hemmed or not? I'm leaning towards no.

    Here's a crappy picture.
