Quality on my indigo summer flying jacket I purchased is quite good and it got to me in about 4 days. Really quite impressive, also they marked the package as having no customs value which is nice after being hit with obscene customs charges before. I am a 38R and the fit on the small is good.

Not to get off topic, but nice hardwood floor Paul. Did you buy the hardwood predistressed (handscraped/aged) or are those original hardwood floors? Uhh am I the only one treating hardwood flooring like my denim?

Thick-ass soft leather. Feels like I'm wearing someone else's feet. Seriously, wearing these is awesome.

Seams are not sewn flat (permanent wrinkles). Lapels are basted, but the stitch is not even. My measurements were basically ignored, the inseam was 4 inches too long and the waist and seat on the jacket was far too big. There is some more stuff I can't think of off the top. I could get a more concise list from my tailor if you really wanted.

Don't buy a Thick as Thieves suit; fabric quality is decent, but construction leaves quite a bit to be desired. Get a suit on sale/discounted from someplace like Nordstrom Rack and then get it tailored.

TAD, Maxpedition and Blackhawk is serious operator shit. The gear they make is designed to be abused in hash climates etc. If you are going to be using the bag as a piece of military equipment that you have to trust you life on then don't fucking skimp. If your going to carry some book and a laptop, get the cheaper shit. It's 70% of the build quality for less than half the price.
