First time riding full carbon and love it...smashing them hills.

anybody here been to hiroshima/miyajima island? looking for places to eat/stay as i'll be heading to jap (osaka+tko as well) end of this year as a little gift to myself to finishing my 5 year course at uni ><
hiroshima is a nice city but wouldn’t stay there for more than a few days, you can see pretty much everything in a couple days. Theres heaps of cheap business hotels to stay in the city, all around the 100AUD/night range or cheaper..i think I stayed at the tokyu inn previously..just look around on the net I guess. Places to eat-theres heaps of little bars/restaurants to chill out at at night, just walk around the city a bit and you will find something. There are pretty decent stores there too as well if I remember correctly.
Re miyajima, a half day trip there is plenty. you can see all you need to see there pretty quickly…fun place though.

oh and I been thinking about this for a while…you guys find KAGs in sydney be more korny then what they would be if they were back home…??
cant talk for any other countries but I swear japanese girls here turn up the K-meter pretty hard then if I were to meet them in tokyo. I met a few friends of a close-friend of mine earlier in ther week, and for some reason they be korny to me. Seems the same for all nationalities too….meh
Im talking college kids though, OLs be ok.
I kind of like it though (0). lulz I saw a chic with a louie V hold-all with a louie V patent orange coin pouch thing hanging off it the other day. for some reason I liked it.hahaha

^^thanks guyz all good suggestions for cheap eats..dont think my description above hit the nail on the head though, im after places like azumas-that sort of casual dining where you can have good food and conversation and kill a few hours at night..price not really an issue i guess, but dont want to be eating at rockpools everynight if u know what i mean...
While im on it, what u guys do for mid-week entertainment? Surely theres got to be more than k-bbq and karaoke right? Haha

yo, all you foodies out there...any recommendations on places to eat in and around the city??
after restaurants that aren't too formal where you can walk in post-work, but not peasant either.
been eating out almost every weekday after work and kind of run out of ideas/places to go...

i overheard a SA in GP say that selvedge denim is rare because its the first pair of jeans made off a fresh roll of denim fabric.. said that the selvedge is found only on the start of the fabric. i did a mad "The Rock" peoples eyebrow... o.0

i went to east syd/ultimo tafe.
pretty good since its very hands on/practical
a couple friends also go to the east syd/ultimo campus. have heard good things. apparently its regarded in the industry as one of the, if not the, best in sydney. anyone seen dion lee's designs lately? pretty impressive.
Is there anyone on here who is doing a completely non-fashion related profession? I, for one, am working as a mechanical engineer.ye i think a few of us would be. interesting seeing how everyone is paying the bills/kopping jawn. i did aeronautical engineering at uni. but hated it and couldnt see myself working in anything to do with engineering. was very lucky to land a decent job in the financial markets recently. job markets are tough at the moment.

long shot but does anyone know if anybody still sells the CoN Cubisms (in 40/41)?
or suggestions on similar
just after something to wear everyday that will also work with shorts.
also, derek_, went to Azuma's the other week and had the degustation menu with a few other plates thrown in. i wouldnt say it was the best thing i have eaten but definitely impressed.
cheers.
