cherrydrew, I can't PM you. Do you have an email address I can contact you at?

How thick/warm are these?

New preferred, but I'll take a mint used too.
Medium please. Any color, but I'll go with Heather Grey first.

Ah, good point. Thanks for the quick reply.
Those sizes match the Momotaro/Japan Blue site (well, minus the fact that they don't go down to size 28, but I'll assume the 2+ oversize is consistent throughout). Lets hope they didn't just copy it directly and did some actual measurements...

Hey guys,
I'm lookin' at these Momotaro GTWP0603S jeans (14.7 oz, low rise, slight bootcut)...
http://www.japanblue.co.jp/denimhouse/item/102.html
The sizing looks completely odd. A size 28 is measured at 30.3 inches according to the site, but if you look through Yahoo auctions and Rakuten, everyone says it's either true to size or SMALLER! Any ideas? They're all sold as one-wash, so there shouldn't be that much shrinking...
Here's a Yahoo auction, saying a 36 measures as an 89 cm waist (which is 35.0 inches), but the other measurements like hem, thigh, etc are actually listed near or larger than what's officially listed on the Japan Blue site.

Sellin' my RB15-5147's. Worn around the house for 2-3 days, but they're just too tight on my thunderthighs. Purchased from a local store (Moda Pittsburgh). Have original tags and receipt.
I'll have pictures soon, but measurements are as follows (following BiG measurement methods):
14.5" waist (aligned)
10.25" front rise
14.25" back rise
2" dip
10.25" thigh opening
7.75" knee opening
7.5" leg opening
29" inseam
$120 shipped.
I have pretty big thighs (21-22" measured), which is why I can't really fit these so much.

Ah, good to know. Thanks.

pbj 008
done.
I heard they were supposed to be a non-slubby replacement, but the numbers that BiG have between the two are pretty different though (sampled at the size 30):
Front rise: +0.25
Back rise: -0.25
Thigh: -0.5
Knee: -0.25
Hem: -0.25
Inseam: +1.25

What fits like a PBJ xx-005? I like the fit, but not the super-slubby denim they use.

Anything that fits similar to PBJ xx-005's, but isn't made from their super-slubby denim?

Still got these? Can you post front and back rise measurements using the BiG method? Thanks!

I have husky legs, and I don't enjoy nuthugging tightness, but I do want some "ass definition" instead of just a whole backpocket full of air.
I tried on a bunch of jeans today (in Pittsburgh, there's really only one boutique, but carry mostly bootcuts), and I liked the fit of the Diesel Vikers. Low rise, straight leg, slim fit "comfort leg" as they call it. I have a pair of Nudie Bootcut Olas, which promised to be a slim fit, but they were too big in the ass and I stretched the thighs to where I finally fit now. So it was slim, but slim in the wrong places. I have a pair of Earnest Sewn Hutch's as well (actually 2 pairs), and it's almost the same issue as the Nudies, too tight in the thigh, and too loose in the ass.
Haven't been able to try on any APC's or Acne's anything, and most of the Japanese stuff available in Pittsburgh is pretty high rise, which I don't like.
Any suggestions before I head down to DC?

Dude, you live in the LA basin. As long as you're in the county, it's not a road trip, it's part of living in LA. Go to West Hollywood. Arena/Circus was my favorite (at least when Spundae used to hold events there), followed by Vanguard. Avalon is too crowded and glitzy for my taste.

Alright, I've got 14 pairs of jeans, I've gotta get rid of some that don't fit me well (plus it'll give me more time to wear in my dry jeans). We got 4 pairs up for sale here (bottom 4 pairs here). The color reproduction on the camera is pretty accurate (it's a Nikon D70 SLR), and the cluster of jeans should give you a good idea of how the colors compare.
I'm new here, but I have 100% feedback on eBay.
575 5-pocket jeans in black, worn maybe 5 times - $30 shipped
Diesel Zathan L.30 (2004 vintage), worn maybe 6 times - $30 shipped
Earnest Sewn Hemingway in Worn Rigid "full leg reference", worn 2 or 3 times - $40 shipped
Earnest Sewn Hutch in Formula 21 "boot cut reference", worn twice - $35 shipped
575 is labeled 29 waist, measures:
15" waist
9" front rise
2.5" dip
10" thigh opening
8" knee opening
9" hem/leg opening
29" inseam
These are a slight bootcut leg, and have roomy legs overall.
Diesel Zathan is labeled 31 waist, measures:
16" waist
9" front rise
2" dip
10" thigh opening
8.5" knee opening
9" hem/leg opening
29" inseam
These were slightly long on me, so the hems took a beating in the process as you can see in the pics. Rest of the jeans are fine though. Slight bootcut to them.

Can you provide measurements? Apparently sizing changed over a couple runs.
