  1. Yeah, I did.  Goofed my measurement even though I did it 3 times on the pre-soak.  Re-did it the next day and it was 37.1".  Not sure what was going on.  After a double hot soak, the inseam is sitting at 35.25".

  2. Just put on the 710-DMOs after two hot soaks and my feeling is that there is quite a bit of stretch potential here.  I didn't get quite as much shrinkage as I had expected...only about 4%.  They fit great at the moment, just a bit on the snug side.  I have no doubt they'll loosen up over the next week.

I must say, I'm loving this cut in a lighter weight denim.  Very comfortable.

  3. Max Power, I would stay in touch with Denimio...I would imagine more exchanges are going to go down.  Perhaps someone who ordered a 36 will end up swapping for a 38.  I know I considered the 38 from a 35...

  4. Not sure if this will help anyone, but here are measurements on the 2 raw pairs I received today:

    710XX-DMO-16oz - Size 36

    Waist - 36"

    Front Rise - 12"

    Back Rise - 15.75"

    Thigh - 13"

    Inseam - 38.5"

    Knee - 9.5"

    Hem - 8.5"

    710XX-24oz - Size 35

    Waist - 36"

    Front Rise - 12"

    Back Rise - 15.5"

    Thigh - 13"

    Inseam - 37.1"

    Knee - 9.5"

    Hem - 8.5"

  5. I think they fit him well, but the measurements still show that they were produced to tag size, rather than produced to shrink to tag size.

Looking forward to receiving my size up as well as the 24 oz model I could not resist any longer.

  6. did they email you an invoice and fedex label to send the jeans back? the invoice park is confusing since i dont know if it needs to be attached to the outside of the package like USPS does or if i need to give it to a FEDEX worker who will take it from there like Denimio says to do

I placed the "order" for the return, but have not yet received any shipping documents via email.

The commercial invoices they send you should be added to the pouch with the FedEx document with the barcode.

  7. In my opinion, they should have delayed shipment and sent an email to everyone to advise them of the sizing discrepancies.

That being said, they covered my return shipping, so I don't really care.  If I had ordered them hemmed, I'd be irate.

  8. Did they have anything to say about their sizing chart being off?

    Yes:

"Unfortunately, it seems the 16oz fabric had shrunken more than the 19oz fabric during the production...

We were also told that the collab jeans will have similar measurements as S710XX19oz as the patterns used are exactly the same and just different fabric.

But once we received the denim and took the actual measurements, it is obvious that the 16oz versions came smaller than the 19oz."

I was provided with Denimio points to cover the return, as they agreed that it was not my error.

  9. How much shrink did you get on the 34s?

I just initiated my return and I'm tempted to go all the way up to a 38 from a 35, as the sizing chart is showing a 37 inch waist on the 38.

On a related note, anyone have sizing info on the 24oz S710s?  Curious about how much shrink/stretch y'all are getting.

  10. Long day....

    BiG method:

    Waist - 35"

    Front Rise - 11.5"

    Back Rise - 15.5"

    Thigh - 13"

    Inseam - 38.5"

    Knee - 9.5"

    Hem - 8.5"

Definitely need to send these back.  I was expecting at least another inch in the waist, preferably two.

  11. I haven't noticed much of a difference over the years.  I've had problems with their buttons intermittently for almost 10 years.

Looking forward to the 710-DMOs arriving tomorrow or Monday.

  12. They are interesting jeans to wear.  Even after 2 preliminary soaks, they were stiff as hell.  About a month in of light wear in now and they are starting to soften up a bit and fall more naturally.
