Nah, fuck that. Levi's time is over. They need sit down and embrace competition. Create new innovative designs to keep with up the market. Not sue the shit out of smaller brands over 'IP'. Yes the arcs and tabs definitely help define Levi's image. But I feel it was out of respect that these companies made repros. Levi's should be so honored to have their vintage cuts glorified and reproduced at far better quality. Its clear nobody wants their new shit.

i've got mixed feelings about this story, but in the end it's sad news for the denim world.

i would expect them to be a bit snug since you have athletic thighs. depending on one's build they can be either regular fit or slim fit. trying them on is the only way to gauge this yourself.

i'd like to bring this thread back to reality and hope other noobs aren't setting expectations too high.

Few of us will ever have as fast fading as kjell has. For 5 months, that is entirely unrealistic. The boy must be running 10 miles in them everyday. If he says, "I just wear them to walk around town", don't believe it. No jeans fade that fast, especially eternals unless you're doing a lot of physical activity everyday in them.

+1, i'm starting on month 3 and my fades are just barely peeping out.

I'm stilling my size 33 APC NS and size 34 KMW 1950 because they don't fit me anymore. I am the original buyer of both pairs. I accept Paypal only.

^(payment pending...)The size 33 APCs have been worn for 3 weeks but doesn't have any fades. Slight knee bulging is present and the waist is stretched out. The measured waist size is 18" across using the measurement guide on the BiG website. I'm selling them for $70 shipped within the US.

^The size 34 KMW 1950s (straight legs) have been worn once, and have no fades. The measured waist size is 17.75" across and the inseam is 33" using BiG's measurement guide. These are the made in China versions. I'm selling them for $80 shipped within the US.

my s5000bk drags on the floor with shoes. it's pretty annoying,and i'm really tempted to taper them to 710bk specs.

sigh i know... what to do with the cell phone other than put it in the backpocket? i usually keep it in a jacket pocket, but with summer approaching, that option is no longer possible.

how do you guys deal with the crotch bulge when you guys sit down? it's annoying and embarrassing when ppl catch me pushing it down . it's probably just my OCD acting up.

When I was wearing my eternals I was washing them about every 2-3 weeks because I realized I could without losing any indigo. The ONLY thing that will cause crocking on those things is actual wear.

can i see pics and stats on your eternals? i tried searching for ur pair on sufu but came up empty. i just want to see what could happen.

that's exactly what i wanted to hear. i'll soak them tonight if i'm sober enough to do it.

i know it's a bit of a noob question, but how badly would a warm soak after ~1 month mess up the fades? i lost a little weight recently, so the waist is getting looser than i like it. i've been reading that 811s hold indigo in for a long time, so i assume it will be ok but i want a second opinion before i screw up my first good pair of jeans.

matsajax is kinda right, everyone at my highschool is wearing nudies now. I actaully remenber this one guy asking me a question about his nudies and how he can get them to fade. I told him to just wear it, but what i really wanted to say was "you're a dumb fuck and you're only wearing nudies because everyone else is wearing it."

imagining a high school where everyone is wearing nudies blows my mind. nudies aren't considered that good here, but in the real world they're a step up. i didn't even have a pair of jeans in high school. i just wore baggy khaki carpenter pants and shorts.

sweet fit kristoffersen. i think it's a tad baggy around the legs though, but it's not a big deal. the crazy sizing of 1947s is the one thing holding me back from getting a pair.

i'm loving the 710bk fit. i regret getting the s5000bks instead of the 710bks. I'm gradually becoming more of a slim fit fan thx to this forum.

eternal 811 (size 33)

first pic was w/ flash; second and third were not. I got true to size (33) in raw then soaked it. i know that goes against the reason for buying raw, but the o/w from eternal looks wrinkled like a mfker. honeycombs look a little retarded imo, but, hey, it's all me, baby. nothing to write home about yet in terms of fades, but there's some blue peeping out at the crotch, back pockets, and hidden rivets.

the cut is pretty good, but my pair seems to have a bulge in the crotch especially when sitting down. i never knew my goods were that big. other complaints: hem is a little large, some hip-flare action going on, and the rise is a bit high. sometimes i'm in the mood for some mid-rise, but it makes me feel like an old man. don't try sagging these guys tho; they'll just ride back up to the waist where they belong.
