  1. So if I'm a true 37, what are the chances of a pair of F310's in 34, and not letting the waist get shrunk (like leaving it out of water)? The rest of my legs are pretty slim.

  2. Hey guys,

Just got my pair of F350's, and they are WAY too big. I bought a 38W. The waist is fine, but they're just so damned straight legged. That and there's way too much room in the seat.

PLEASE advice on the fit of the 3009's? They look like they might taper a bit, like my LVC 47's? Or a different cut that tapers a bit.

    Thanks

What cut is the same as the 3001, but w/button fly?

  3. What are the shipping charges to US? (assuming you are in US)

    Dom Shipping - 1,000 yen

    Int'l EMS shipping - 3,500 yen

That's about $48 USD. Seems like a lot, but eh, what to do

So total was about $290 USD.

  4. **

here are the measurements i posted earlier in thread...

they've stretched out (after about a month?), but not all the way back to pre-soak. if my thighs were bigger though, i'm sure they would've stretched more.

if your concern is that the thighs will be too tight, then don't worry cuz it won't be a problem unless you have thuuuunder thighs.

Do you think any of the 3-series denim will shrink like that in the thigh? I'm eyeing the 3009 on rakuten, all the measures seem really good except the thigh pre-soak seems kinda big...

  5. Hi guys,

Trying to decide on a FH cut similar to the LVC 47's. Any advice on sizing and other models? It looks I'm between a 34 and 36 (no 35 of course). Is is feasible to buy the 34's and not allow the waist to shrink, then just have them stretch?

    Any help is appreciated.

  6. ^ pfft, they said it was, but i dont remember if it was true. if it was, i didn't care. the waist is right on the spot and i couldn't be happier. but if you have big thighs then def. size accordingly.

Ok, when you said you sized down, did you mean from the tagged size or the measured size? 'Cause it seems like the measured is already a size down from the tag...

  7. im a pretty small guy, but i went down 1 on my okis and i dont regret the fit at all. it was snugged enough to make bruise marks on my hips, but after a couple wears, it went to a good fit. I don't have big thighs, and the last time i got a size 29 O/W SC1947 was a little too relax for my liking although some people would say it was a workable fit.

You sized DOWN?! Yeah, there's no way I could get into a 34 in the Oki's. It looks like the Oki's and Hawaii's run an inch smaller in Waist then the standard 47's?

Thanks for the advice guys, I appreciate it...

  8. Well, I have a pair of LVC 47's from last year, tagged 36W. They stretched to a 37.5"W, big measure, and they fit perfect for my taste.

What's the stretch factor on them?

EDIT: Yeah, the tagged 36 for the Oki and Hawaii models would be WAY too small for me. The 1947 says 35.5W for the 36 tagged. If that stretched a lot it might work (like 2").

The thing is, if I size up to a 38 in the '47, they START where I would want them, so more stretching would be too big?

You'll probably want the 38. Depends on what you're using to determine that you're a 36....

I'm a pretty true 33, and wear 34's in all the Sugar Cane's I've ever owned.

  9. Hi guys,

Looking at ordering a pair of the 1947 One-wash from rakuten. Seems the one-wash runs pretty small? I'm a size 36, what would you recommend? And if I got the Hawaii or Okinawa, do those run about the same size wise?

    Thanks for any help.

  10. I just dealt with the sizing deal with RAW 1947's. I kept reading about how to size 2" in the waist and 3" in the inseam, b/c the waist will shrink 2" and the inseam 3". I wear a 36W, so I bought 38X36". Well, I 1)hot soaked for 20 mins and they only shrunk maybe 3/4". So then I 2)hot soaked for like 4 hours. Still too big, only shrunk down to a 37". So then I 3)soaked AND hot dryer. STILL too big. I know, people say it takes like 10 washes to get the full shrinkage. But hell if Im gonna wear baggy ass jeans like that, esp. in the '47 for months until they shrink. So I bought a true to size 36"W, am wearing now, and they fit great-haven't soaked them yet. Im gonna wait until they stretch and I get some fades, then shrink back down to this size. Hope this helps.
