  3. Hello All,

It's been a long time since I last posted. I am re-focusing my business to only sell vintage designer clothing and would like to sell out my current inventory of new w/tags Rag and Bone Women's jeans from the Spring 2008 season.

The lot consists of about 150 pairs. A mix of style - Devi II, RBW1, and Jodhpur pants ranging in sizes 24-30. They are NEW and authentic with barcoded tags. I'd like to sell the entire lot as a whole at $13 per pair shipping included. I will ONLY ship within the USA.

It will take a few days to inventory exact count of each style and size...so I wanted to gauge interest before I dig my heels into taking photos and inventory.

Please email me with any questions or to express interest!

  4. I was wondering if any LVC experts out there can help me with understanding or decoding the different color selvedge denim that Levi's LVC products are made from. I understand that different colors often designate a "time period" in which they were made. (ie Pleain white selvedge is pre 1900 I believe).

In my collection I have plain white selvedge, red selvedge, yellow selvedge, light blue selvedge, bark blue/black selvedge and even pink (natural pink, not pink from 100 washes) selvedge. Does anyone know if a particular color is from particular manufacturing country or factory?

Most all of the LVC I have were made in the USA, but I know Levi's imports denim from Italy, Turkey and Japan. So....do any of these selvedge colors link to a certain country or perhaps something else like denim weight?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

  5. These RBW1 pants are blue and NOT overdyed. The measurements were hand done by me as the tags are different than actual size. These pants also come in Black. The color difference is very subtle. The Jodhpur pants I have up for auction and are overdyed black

Even though the RBW1 are designated was women's I would describe them as UNISEX, as I have tried a pair of RBW1 size 33 and they fit me well. A bit too tight for my taste but they fit nonetheless. If you decide to buy a pair I would pay attention to the wasit size and rise to decide if the they would fit you. I have read online that the RBW1 are basically the women's version of RB6.

    Hope the helps.

  6. Thanks for the kind bumps people. I hadn't posted on here for a while as I was banned for accidentally posting in the wrong section. I was shocked by the banning so I kind of stopped using the board. Wasn't worth the aggravation I got from some users that were a bit on the "bitchy" side. :-)

I still have many pairs of LVC, Rag and Bone and some Selvedge helmet lang jeans going up for auction soon. You can peruse my ebay feedback for satisfied customers who can attest to the quality and authentiity of ALL the jeans and other clothes I Sell.

PS. where can you get Rag and Bone for $37.95 shipping included!!!

Since the price has come down considerable since I first posted the 10% discount is no longer valid for superfuture users. :(

  7. I noticed from some posts above that there was some tag deciphering going on. Can anyone tell me what "Cone xvos FDU" Denim Means. I realize that these are cone denim jeans but what's with the XVOS?

They tag is attached to a LVC 1947 501XX pair.

  9. The Sonic Crush 505 did get a release. It wasn't, however, until January 2003. In terms of production versions I think it was the case of no two pairs identical. The store I bought from probably still has a pair as they aren't wearable, much like the Celebration pair in this booklet.

Thank you! Mystery Solved. I'll throw them up on Ebay for that "completist' collector type. :-)
