Thoughts on Vuarnets?

I met a girl that was rocking a nice pair of vintage Vuarnets with a wayfarer-ish silhouette, but they seemed sturdier by a mile and a little nicer. They sell on ebay for about the same as a pair of Wayfarer's, but they seem just generally more interesting.

i wanted vuarnets because they are "like wayfarers but not wayfarers" too, but the hipsters here are one step ahead, and im starting to see them around way too much. nice glasses though, good lenses and lots of colours and variations

only gucci and d&g can make the tackiest and fugliest shit and people still pay 500 bucks for em, imho. they do go well with blue carpets and gold curtain rods though.

gucci's last couple seasons have been legit overall but i guess they need something to appease the loyal guidos who buy anything to make themselves standout from the other guidos. brown loafers are ok if thats what youre into, the rest are ug

thoughts on these? wayfarer-type glasses tend to suit my face and i have brown hair... havana or black?

mitchums was yellowing my shirts and other deodorants didnt keep me dry. i tried gilette clinical strength and it was not that effective, so i switched back to mitchums. instead of applying it in the morning i followed the gilette instructions and used mitchums at night (like gouf said). i only need to use it every few days and it keeps me dry unless im doing a lot of activity. by far the most effective antiperpirant ive used.

dorms have curfews? that's lame.

yeah the dorms have cerfews at either 1130pm or 12am. sucks and apparently they are strict. doors dont open again until an hour after the trains start running, whenever that is.

any idea what my best bet for finding a place to stay that isnt too far from campus or the city? or which subway lines i should try to stay close too?

anyone have advice on finding a place to stay for 5 months? im going to sophia university but i dont want to stay in dorms because of the cerfews. theres a couple of guesthouses: Azalea house and DK House. they seem kind of far though. what kind of travel time is reasonable to yotsuya for JPY55,000-65,000 a month? any better ideas?

any feedback is appreciated, ive never been to japan and im pretty lost.
