Has anyone seen those adds on tv about the presets doing a show at Martin Place or something like that? I can't find any info on it online and it looks like the presets won't be here until June.

So, speaking of APC, I've got some pretty bad crotch stress going on and I was wondering if there's any way to reinforce it or fix it before it blows out. It's just a tiny hole where it's the actual individual threads of cotton but I saw my friends jeans blow out in the crotch and the 'repairs' made the jeans look hideous.

I agree with Matay, Superhero. Sounds like you're looking for APC. The minimalist design means you can pull it off as a bit more high end than if you had crap stitched all over your ass pockets.

The problem then becomes the fact that you don't have any APC in Sydney. I've seen a couple pairs at Incu but some were the stone washed version I think. Or some kind of wash; either way they were pre-faded and pretty disgusting in my opinion. Other than that I can't think of anywhere that carries them.

So that leaves you online options, but I've heard even denim bar and the other online stores run out of APC pretty quick in the most common sizes.

Nah alex, let the paint sit for a while. See what it does to the jeans overall look.

If it's no good then take some paint thinner, but a little bit on a rag and start scrubbing and see what THAT does to the jeans overall look. That'd be interesting to see... Post some pics of the jeans with paint on them.

The short haired girl at Dutil has amazingly blue eyes, very pretty. But if the sizing there isn't working for you check out Eugene Chu on Main and 12th. I haven't been there for a while but last time they had a fair stock of APC 28-32.

On another note, does anyone have any information on that Australian made raw denim brand? I saw some of it at Another Inch and it seemed pretty heavy but I can't remember the name of it.

Yah about the AA store, I talked to the guys at Another Inch and Footage and apparently it's supposed to have been opened 'any week' a couple months ago. Anyone know any dates on the store?

It's been a bit over 8 months now, one hot soak w/ woolite and one ocean wash. The front colour is more accurate.

Hey so totally off topic (although so are the last couple pages) but anyone got any great restaurants/pubs/clubs they would suggest? I'm leaving for Sydney in 10 days and will be there for 4 months. Oh and give me a reason why you like the place so much... My tastes might be different than yours.

Shoque: Yah they stretched out like they were before the wash.

Aniki: I just used cold water and let them sit in the tub... They are definately softer and lighter but not noticeably so for me. Maybe it was the detergent you used?

Shoque: I did a 15 minute soak in just standard bath tub cold water and the loss of indigo/fading was so negligible I didn't notice until I put my APC right up next to a brand new pair. And it helped the smell TONS.

Edit: Three hours of wear and they were back to their old size.

Even if it didn't break you'd think it would hurt like a bitch sitting on a phone...

mtl20v: Those are sick. Nice work. I wish I hadn't hemmed my jeans as much as I did. Your stacks are amazing and the cuffs are still in pretty good shape. I was worried mine would get shredded so took them prett short.

Jay: Damn that sucks about Mac, but I'm used to a shithole campus, I go to Simon Fraser... You obviously don't know but let's just say we've got the highest suicide rate in Canada for a Uni. Is the public transportation to downtown Sydney from Mac any good?

I wouldn't say prices are a lot cheaper here than in Sydney. But then I don't know prices outside of nike shoes and jeans. APC's are 200 canadian just for the vaguest of ideas.

Hey guys, love that Sydney is down with sufu. Kinda creepy considering Kokanee's post above but I'm also from Vancouver and headed to Macquarie in february for a semester abroad. Tons of info on Sydney shopping (looks like prices are kinda bunk =/) in this thread but I was wondering if anyone had any info on what the locals think of Macquarie and if you've got any bars/restaurants that you wanna rave about.

Hey, so these are about 4 months and a bit with maybe 2 and a half months of heavy wear. Size 30 NS, normally wear a 32 pant. When I tried them on it was an epic struggle to just get the top button up and now I can slide them off without unbuttoning. Belt is mandatory. The thighs and calves are now stretched out enough that they're comfortable unless we're talking some serious stretching. One soak, just cold water for 15 mintues. Kind've crappy pictures, they were taken with my macbook in my poorly lit basement so what can you do. And yes these are all the same pair, even though they have varied colours. The first one's the most close to the actual colour.
