  1. My straight-leg raws are about to hit the 5 month mark. Worn about x3-4 a week. There is some moderate discoloration around the natural creases and pocket bulges.

Never washed em' -- should I soak or just machine wash the first time around? These are my first real attempt at breaking in raw denim...

  2. This jacket was purchased several months ago, but is a bit to slim for me. Following is the information included from the original seller:

    SIZE 48 (US 38)

PROTOTYPE FROM THE FASHION SHOW. THE PROTOTYPES OFTEN HAVE THIS PARTICULARITY ...THE FINISHING AND THE DETAILS ARE THE MORE GORGEOUS YOU CAN DREAM OF ( AS THERE IS NO LIMIT IN TERM OF BUDGET FOR THEIR REALIZATION )

( HUGE WOLF FUR COLLAR ...LEATHER DETAILS ...WOOL CUFFS ...YELLOW COPPER ZIPS AND STUDS ...TRIPLE LINING... THICK OVERSEWING EVERYWHERE... ETC ...). A TOTAL OF 8 DIFFERENT MATERIALS ...TO GIVE THIS " EXTRA HIGH QUALITY " FEELING

A FEW PIECES ( NOT MORE THAN 5 OR 6 ) HAVE BEEN REALIZED BUT WITH OTHER FABRICS AND WITHOUT THE WOLF COLLAR ...

THE CORDROY IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL ...THICK AND LUXURIOUS ... 2 FRONT POCKETS PLUS 2 SHOULDER POCKETS CLOSING WITH A ZIP

    measurements :

    shoulders : 19 inch / 48.5 cms

    arms lenght : 26 in / 66 cms

lenght in the back : 23 in / 58.5 cms

    waist under the arms ( flat ) : 21 in / 53.5 cms

I can add that the shoulder to shoulder (and pit to pit) is about 18.5 inches, otherwise the measurements are spot-on. As indicated above, the detail of this coat is breath-taking. Luxurious pinstripe lining, and blue silk-like lining throughout sleeves. Because of the extra layering, the coat keeps very warm, but is also quite breathable. The handstiching is apparent in the knitting around the edges.

Here's your chance to own a once in a lifetime piece.

This is currently up on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170200811933&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=007

    Asking: $1850

  4. I wish they did 0500s in 17oz Denim, or the 710s with an easily visible acurate ;____;

The beauty of the black arcuate is having them come into contrast once you get some good fading going. The black arc's look sick on a pair of 510xx 19 oz'ers I have.

Also, re heavy jeans -- they start out tough and heavy, but after a few soaks/washes become very soft and inviting.

  5. Anyone know where I can find a LW-02 oatmeal/grey crewneck other than Unpluged? I'm looking for a S/M and they seem to be sold out in that model & size.

  6. Yeah, the s5000's aren't slim -- I sized down one (usually a 32, went for a 31), and they now fit like any other pair of my jeans after shrinkage and stretchage. Size down 2 if you want a slimmer fit, check out the fit pics thread.

  7. im pretty sure those are the s5000 BK

Considering they are referencing poly, it would make sense. The angle/light def make the color come off as as a pale ocean blue to me. I can see the bk, though.

How nice would it be to have a pair of zero denim jeans in a deep blue with grey stictching?

  8. Mine at around like 70 days or something...3 hot soaks, no wash yet.

Damn Poly, what the hell did you do? haha

These aren't a pair of s5000's, are they? What model are these, they look fantastic broken in.
