I have a p906i from Japan and I use it here in the U.S. under AT&T. What you have to buy is a hypersim that attaches to your sim card. I purchased the iNex hypersim, and it works really well, much better than the ismartphone brand. Does phone calls, txt messaging and the basic stuff. I heard it won't work w/ internet and 3g. Hope this helps.

I'm also interested in going to high end restaurants, not so much 'great deals' type restaurants. Super cool interior and high end is a plus

Gary Danko is pretty good. Carnelian Room is decent. I hear Michael Mina is good.

Thank for the info Morningstar, it sucks though, I live in Cali and there are no uniqlo's here nor Zara's. NYC may be trench/peacoat galore, but nobody rocks trenches here in Cali...some peacoats, but only the Donna Karen mom's and their daughters.

Where in Cali are you? There are two Zara's here in downtown SF.
