    L'Maltieri Two-Part Cashmere Gloves - £160

I'm selling another pair of the nicest knit gloves about: the L'Maltieri Cashmere two-part knit gloves.

Every pair is in an over-dyed grey colour (photo of dark pair has been used to show details only).

Selling these on behalf of someone who bought a few pairs in Perugia.

    They are brand new.

These will fit most sizes, only if you have very, very small hands will you struggle to wear these without them being too loose.

The gloves come apart so that the outer layer can be worn alone as a fingerless mitten, or worn with the super-soft inner layer as a complete covering glove.

The cashmere is thick on the fingerless mitten part and thinner & softer on the finger-covering under-layer.

Worn a handful of times and have just been dry-cleaned.

Only small sign of wear is a slight opening below on thumb were one thread has severed – it’s basically not noticeable unless you only wear the outer part.

    Alexandre Plokhov Shirt - £60

Classic shirt from Alexandre Plokhov, complete with shoulder darts to help the fit and a Cloak/Plokhov-esque pocket design.

Worn once and never washed – still has the new ‘crispness’ to it. I bought it from Layers London less than a year ago. Needs a wash, but otherwise in immaculate condition.

    Measurements:

    Pit-to-pit – 48.5cm

    Length from neck – 73cm

Have been worn, but are structurally as they were when new apart from the roughly hemmed, but it suits with the aesthetic of the garment. Almost no discernable wear in the crotch area due to the rugged construction.

Amazing construction in this wool zip-up. Is lined throughout to stop itchyness of dense wool.

    Heavy-duty zip.
A fantastic and very useable piece.

In 8.5/10 condition. Has been worn, but only sign of wear is very slight piling on back near the bottom hem (can be carefully removed) and a 5mm hole at the back seam of one of the armpits. I only found this on inspection.

Boris Bidjan Saberi Waxed Jacket - £350

    Size small
Fits a 46 perfectly with a little room.

    Chest – 49cm
    Length of back – 68cm
    Length of front – 73cm
    Length of arm – 51cm

From 09/10, presumably the S/S season due to the jacket’s light construction.
Rare – I struggled to find pictures of it in online!

Please note: first 4 images are of the actual jacket. The others I have found on the internet of identical or very similar jackets.

The jacket is consists of two layers – waxed cotton outer and un-waxed inner.
From the waist, the jacket creates a perfect straight line so that around upper-torso the chest/throat part of the jacket is more roomy and can either drape beautifully when worn upon (almost ‘peeling’ to either side), or covers the chin (with space for a scarf, or suchlike).
Under layer is meant to be frayed and distressed and can be tucked away and hidden inside the front and the arms of the jacket if desired.

Has been worn a fair amount. In very good condition. Some stitching has come away at the pockets, but should be easy to fix if desired. Probably about 7.5/10 condition.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Ann Demeuelmeester Sandals - £230

    Size: 44.
Absolutely classic design, sold out very quickly in most shops.

I have worn them a hand-full of times, they had many admirers literally every time I wore them.
There is some minor wear on the toe with the usual slight wear on the black inner, structurally perfect.
There was a small leather insert in placed in the heal of the shoe which I’ve taken out.
The leather needs a clean where it has been – I’ll try to do some before they’re sent.

They will come with the original dust-bag.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Linea Length-Adjusting Linen Trousers - £270

    A pair of Linea trousers.
I think they were originally used as cases/bags for leather trousers, but they are a masterpiece in their own right and quite possible to wear as the ultimate stacking trouser, or a looser linen trouser.

The thing that made me acquire these from the seller I purchased a load of rare stuff from in Perugia (who presumably bought up some stock of Carpe Diem and Linea) was the quite incredible pulley-line system running from the waistline down through a little seam on the inside of each leg. When pulled, the cords cause the material to bunch up quite evenly (and can be modified in spread along the seam as to your wishes). This should be an addition to more trousers!

The material is a grey over-dyed linen.

In very good condition - material is perfect and the bunching system on both works perfectly although the plastic end stopping the line being pulled up into the seam of the trouser has come off on some of the legs, but this isn't a major problem - I improvised with a paper clip.
They have ties around the waist that can function to keep the waist up (if you're slightly smaller).
The tightness of the legs really depends on how much bunching you want and how you alter the pulley system running up and down the seams on the inside of the legs, which in turn aids the bunching.

I have chosen to shift them on because I need the money, having held onto them for 4 years without ever getting around to using the small amount of time it would take to make them easily practical. I wore them out in public twice.

They will fit a 31-33 waist.
Length wise, they'll fit anything. When I hold the trousers up, they go from my neck to the floor - that's how much stacking-action can happen!

    Approx. size – 46/48

    Chest – 53cm

    Length from neck – 70cm

    Arm length – 55cm

Not quite sure of the material. Might be a merino wool blend. The garment is moderately thick and warm.

This jumper is designed to age and change its look. Some parts of the jumper are beginning to separate (as intended) and wear up nicely and there are some small holes under one armpit where the material is thinning. Still loads of wear left and you needn’t wear it both ways if the more ‘destroyed’ look isn’t for you.

Size – M (see measurements – fits more like an XS)
In excellent condition, paint hasn’t started to crack at all and they’ve never been washed. MMM tag came off. Minor marks on the fabric from storage, but these will come out once washed.
The colour is incredible, like a translucent purple/blue, very subtle and stunning in the flesh.
Quite stiff at the moment but will ease up with wear just like a good pair of selvage jeans loosens up after a while.

    Waist – 37.5cm
    Crotch – 29cm
    inside leg – 74cm
    knee – 19cm
    hem – 18cm

    MMM 010 Painted jeans (brown) - £50

Size – M also (if I remember rightly – these are in the UK so are slightly cheaper to ship) – they fit more like an small/medium, unlike the purple pair.
In excellent condition, paint hasn’t started to crack at all and they’ve never been washed.
Quite stiff at the moment but will ease up with wear just like a good pair of selvage jeans loosens up after a while.

    Waist – 42cm
    Crotch - 32cm
    Inside leg - 86cm
    Knee - 26cm

  6. Alexandre Plokhov Shirt - £70

    Raf Simons Shirt/Polo - £25

Size 46 – fits to size, would work up to a large 46.

Great design: Double layered, with a conventional shirt part separating from jersey polo-shirt on the lower half, giving a looser, more easy-going vibe to this piece.

In very good condition – small hole in sleeve detail as shown in photo and very slight stains on inside of neck as you’d expect from a white shirt.
    Worn approx. 10 times.

    Measurements:
    Chest – 49cm
    Length – 69cm

    Linea/L'Maltieri Jacket - £230

I’ve never seen this jacket anywhere else.
I bought it from someone in Italy clearing out some Carpe Diem/Linea/L’Maltieri deadstock and some of their own used pieces.

The material on this jacket is the first thing that stands out. It’s extremely hard to describe – the images are better at doing that, but they still don’t quite catch the subtle eloquence of it. I have no tags to name or list the materials, so I’m none-the-wiser; however, I've had a tip off that the outside is most-likely wool.
I thought it may have been a piece by Linea due to the collar, but, again, I've been informed that this is more likely to be a L'Maltieri jacket that has been altered (perhaps making it a sample) by removing the collar.
The raw, fraying hems are part of the look.
The arms are lined with a material that I’m again stumped to describe – it feels a little like some kind of gauze-silk (but perhaps it’s rayon), then on the other side you have some kind of suede like short-hair material.
There are three stitched crosses on the inside of the jacket – presumably where buttons/hooks could be added for the loops on the other side (both the crosses and loops are pictured).
Judging by the attention to detail on the ‘inside’, I imagine this could be worn reversed too.
    Stunning work.

This has been worn a little (seemingly mostly with a shoulder bag as one shoulder shoes the most sign of wear), but is in structurally excellent condition.

    Fits a 48 best.

    Measurements:
    Chest – 51cm
    Length from neck – 82cm
    Sleeve length – 50cm

    Number (N)ine Scarf - £30

Great little scarf from the now-defunct label.
No labels, but I seem to remember this being a mixed material including 20% cashmere – it’s soft. Colour scheme is like a navy green with mixes of brown.
    In excellent condition.
