Does anyone know something about the 1911 333 jean?
There's gonna be a 333 repro this season?
Please elaborate

These are my childhood favorites:
Air Penny III (blue/white)
Air more tempo (black/black)
I like air more tempo the best, it was the first Scottie Pippen shoes back in the days, wore them everyday for two and a half years, do everything in them, and then the air sole popped.

In their promo, they claim the 47s they offer are made using, " Pure indigo dye without chemical additives..." If this is in fact, I'd spend the extra 100 bucks for a pair. Any thoughts about this company making false claims or could it be that Levi lvc EU products are different from what Levi Strauss offers here in the states?
When most companies claim they use "pure indigo" they mean 100% artificial indigo, some companies try to do a extra coating of sulfur to make jeans look darker than they really are.

Although we can't truly achieve that authenticity of a bygone era, but the thought on doing so really entertains me and works like a gravitational force that pulls me into good quality denim, repro or not.
The question of authenticity gets kind of philosophical though. While "dad's authenticity", the result of good hard work his dad put into a good quality jacket in the obvious sense would not equal to "my authenticity" because the definition might have fundamentally changed, but there is the probability that, if only by pure coincidence, the two can match, even if the dude doesn't know it. The dad probably achieved this "authenticity" that the son look up to so much without even knowing it anyways.
A little anachronism in my mind can sometimes brighten up my day, so I would dream, and dream, until it becomes second nature and I would dream no more. Just some random rant.

I hate how my jeans would drape after the starch is gone, I know is inevitable, so that means i like my jeans when they still have a little starch in them, that way they feel more structured.
Anyways, the pefect status is achieved when your jeans reach level 99, they have a discussion on this thread.

leave this thread as it is, if it becomes a popular guide, it will still afloat, if it loses popularity that means people are not using it. Live and let live.

Got 4 molars drilled and filled couple years ago, one from each corner, the whole thing sounds like a scam though. Before I change my family doctor, the previous one had a checkup and told me everything is fine, but that was couple years ago, then I change my dentist. On my first visit, they told me I got 4 cavities and need to drill my grill, I was skeptical 'cause there was no pain or nothing, my teeth didn't complain, so they should be fine. I wasn't skeptical enough to question his professionalism, i thought i be safe with the hippocritic code and all. Total end up being about 200 something w/insurance.

Mr. Nogami, you know i would if i could, +rep for doing what you think is right. I honestly these artisan brands from japan should at least give it a fight before they give up, might as well fight together then going down one by one, like what they are doing right now

SC40501-I always wish me some bamboo color jeans
PBJ007-Slubby and warp/weft dyed, the hue is bluer on the other side
Vintage cheap unknown straight leg rigid denim-a cheap pair so I can wear it like the grams from old times.

The color looks amazing on those! Is that how the no.2 denim fades? Did you fix the cinch on that one, too, looks pretty good!
edited: Airfrog, would you mind to make a hi-res version of the first picture? I think that would make a fantastic wallpaper!

I am almost 100% sure that the no.2 denim is sanforized, but if you are able to shrink them, more power to you. Conventionally, people should buy no.2 denim jeans in their respective fit sizes though.

Maybe they are the 1930s, beltloop and suspender buttons are features on the 1930 model.
edited: no crotch rivet though, let the mystery continues

Probably because I own the older ones and thought they were suppose to be a "great war" 44 inspired model.
Even though I didn't notice it at first, but the lighter weight denim(I say about 12oz), the coated rivets, camo pocket liners, and the anti-fit fit the bill as a 44 model, but with rivets. The fit was great too, at first, and then it stretched like mad! The new fit looks great though, I also wanted them to be slimmer below the knee. Mine is about to be a year, but doesn't look as good as poly's.
BTW, I always thought Prps did a really good job with its tab. Seems like the only logical reason that levi's is not suing is probably because Prps' tab somehow circumvented the tab device trademark.

The new pocket design really turn me off, I like the old camo ones better
The folded back pocket and the hidden stitch is great though

Thank you guys!

So electrum, how much do the 1873s run you in Levi's SF?

P.S.... I might have one of the highest neg rep to post count ratios out there.
Just so you know, revoked, no need to worry, you are a glorious beacon of light. I think you are a little wierd though, "obsess" is a really strong word, i would never be so strong about the fit of denim in general. I take most repro fit to be given and some fit great while others are more anti-fit. Rule of thumb is size down 1, you might not have the perfect ass geometrics, but you are awful close to it.

I just thought too much criticism went to OMC
Guy doesn't look like he gets paid from Uniqlo, he's more like the guy that represents SuFu, so the forum can continue to run, whether it be money or magic forum powder that generates free bandwidth.
Might be propaganda, but if this let the forum continue to run, I am all for it.
Or maybe we can all donate 5 bucks per month so the forum can run ad-free.

This might be off topic, but a lot of the posts inferred that price=value, thus uniqlo is worse off than other japanese denim, even if they were produced by the same company, maybe even in the same mill from the same factory. We wouldn't know the quality of this "new" uniqlo line until we see the denim, so at the very least give it a fair chance, the denim might surprise you, albeit very unlikely.
