can someone answer this question for me: I wear a size US 10-10.5, would the lanvin no strap hightop in a size 9 (US 10) fit me? is it true to size. I know that the strapped hightop versions are fine, but i heard the no straps differ from the strapped. Will anyone with the non strapped hightop answer this question, thanks!

The fact of the matter is Jay Z can afford lanvin. The man is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The sad part is you guys spend your whole pay check on Lanvin, then you cant eat or buy anything for two to three months. Who cares about the house of lanvin, that house is worth no more than $400 million, which is still within the reach of Jay z to buy it if he chose. While he is wearing his lanvin, although he did make it look cheap, chances are we will never see him in person wearing them, why you ask? simply because he will be in his maybauch preserving the sole of his Lanvins, while you idiots are walking and looking like a bunch of morons. Lanvins were made and designed for people with capital behind their name that enjoy the finer things in life, last time i checked, having a bit over $500 million is considered rich. Step your game up dude.

once people are posting lanvin in hypebeast threads, expect lanvin to take a nose dive in coolness. Any shoe hypebeast put their foot in they run to the ground. There goes lanvin. They need to bring back the starp. Oh by the way, hypebeast is building a large lanvin buzz on their forum, which is not a good thing.

Lanvin is so over rated. After finally getting my hands on them, i realize how plain and over priced they are, the quality is good, but not $700 good; I am so over lanvin, that was last year.

I love the look, but they hurt my feet. Get mad blisters by wearing mine. Got the patent black leather with strap. Its totally worth it though

Yea, you have to have a ton of confidence in yourself to wear those I feel. Do they still sell them though? I think they were out like a year ago and I couldn't find them on ebay when I searched.

Yes! they are at barneys in New york, they rereleased them. I have seen them in the gold version on ebay about 3 weeks ago, my only beef with them is that its a bit too high, its even higher than the lanvin. The color is great if you want to make a statement and break necks, but confidence is required to wear those shoes, they are not for the faint at heart.

If anyone is interested. I just got back from Barneys in Beverly HIlls. They have the hightop Lanvins, in an Olive Color (NOT the FUSHCIA! I asked for it). $700 but there is 30% off. They have a pretty good size run. I am a Nike 9 and the Lanvisn size 8 fits just right. Good luck!

The shoes are real, it's just a different shoe from the run way pic, i actually like that one for some reason, try going to barneys or jeffreys or even the barneys site and you will see them. they are 100% authentic dude. BTW, if you go to page 13, fashionable modern man is wearing the same shoe in his pic.

i doubt i am getting those maroon/browish ones, i knew it looks too good to be true in the browns pics. I dont see what i could wear those with, although lanvins werent really made to be a shoe that you try to match things with. That color is just not my taste.

those knock offs are gross! man! if i can't afford the real thing i leave it alone. I must say, the white with silver is pretty nice, but my pride couldn't let me do it, screw being a smart shopper, i want to be an authentic shopper (i am not referring to the lanvin, instead i am referring to the knock off dior sneakers with red strip).

those shoes are pretty sought after, thank God i found my pair. Good luck finding them, but, you can try to get the japanesse knock-offs if you want it real bad, and that's your taste. It will hard to find it since its an old season shoe.
