  1. From my experience, the mainline running gear is similar to Nike stuff, and I have found that it wears out quickly. I would gladly try out the motus tee again if you think it’s that good. I was very interested in purchasing the Norvan SL when it came out, but the salesperson I spoke with said it didn’t breath at all (completely waterproof, but not really what you need for normal conditions).

I haven’t tried Satisfy hoodies or tights, just the shorts, jacket and tees, which are super light and breathable.

The AV running gear will hopefully be amazing, I will definitely try it.

  2. It makes sense that AV will come out with a running capsule, as the designer is a runner, and probably other members of the staff.  The mainline running gear is average at best, which is disapointing given the resources they have.  I really like Satisfy for running clothing, especially the shorts.  its the best stuff I have come across, for short and long distances.

  3. For those of you who are looking to get some Veilance gear over the holidays, or during sale time, I can highly recommend a few products.

Idisce Pants:  ridiculously good, amazing fit, perfect fall/winter pants for inclement weather

Mionn insulated Blazer:  its not really warm, but it is very functional, and it packs away into a small inside pocket.

Graph Sweater:  the new version of this sweater is the best yet. a little heavier, the fabric is better than past versions

Also, the peat colour for any of the current products is the best green Veilance has come up with

  4. The Neptune Light is more light blue than grey.  I am not a fan.

The fall selection of colours is the most promising in years from AV, much better than this summer.  The Quoin Jacket and Vest are fantastic pieces, as is the Spere coat. The Gabrel, on the other hand, is not successful.

  5. Fals3, I am roughly the same size as you, but I have not experienced the same problems with my field jacket after two years of wear (size small).  Perhaps there have been slight changes in the sizing of the jacket for newer models.

Of all the current insulated jackets the Node is my least favourite.  As people have said, the length is odd. The Galvanic and Patrol are amazing, though;  I prefer the new cotton facing for this season compared to the models from past seasons, as they feel quite different, almost textured.
