Arcteryx Veilance Align and Insulator jackets from FW2012. The Align jacket is ordesa green while the Isulator is black. Both are size small. I've worn both for one winter season and they've been washed once. I've applied Granger's waterproofing to the Align jacket to ensure it remains waterproof. $550 for the Align, and $400 for the Insulator.

Any recommendations for another layer under the align jacket? I was thinking of the Veilance insulator jacket, but as I'll probably using it for layering, I'm wondering if there's something functionally equal in Arcteryx's main line.

Is the color of the jacket black or a very dark green? it's kinda hard to tell exactly from the pictures.

I'd look into the Voigtlander R2A or R3A

So I ordered a pair of White's SD in 8.5 off White's on eBay. I'd say the width is near perfect, but I have about half an inch+ of space at the top of the boot which makes me think I could do a size 8. Would it be better to exchange and size down or keep the 8.5? I think the 8.5's fit fine right now, but perhaps size 8 would be even better.
