these suede danner boots can be had at some rakuten stores...but are fuckin expensive compared to $139 at the factory store in portland

correction, levi's STF are in certain retail stores in canada. well in toronto at least. not major department stores but smaller fashion stores do carry them.

but how do you measure the thigh area?

how exactly do i take thigh measurements on jeans?

1.) do i measure the widest area down from the waist?

2.) do i fold them like dress pants where both the legs line up together then measure the "thigh area", or can i just lay them flat and measure?

lol i tried searching for "thigh" + "measurement" but too many random results came in. sry if this has been asked before

would anyone with a sterlingware peacoat please post a picture of how the fit looks on an actual person instead of oversizing like they did on the website? and would anyone have gotten it in a short lenght?

take a look at styleforum, and search for sterlingwear. i'm pretty sure a few posters have posted fits of the peacoat sized down 1 chest size. thats what most people there recommend for a slim fit.

I have a pair of Red Wing 1911's. I live in Toronto, so its pretty wet, and alot of salt around during the winter. So I'd like to take care and preserve these boots as much as possible so I can wear them for years!

I'm wondering if I should get the Obenauf Heavy Duty LP or their Leather Oil? I'd like to keep the original colour of the 1911's (fucking love the black cherry red) as much as possible.

I know applying pretty much anything on leather will alter its colour in some sort of way. But which product is my best bet in terms of preserving the colour, while protecting the leather from the nasty salt?

yeah, its taking some effort making them fit into my wardrobe and all i mean, and believe me the 5000s are WAY baggier than the 0500s

dino would it be possible for you to post fits of both the 5000 and 0500?

i'd like to see the difference between them. I'm planning on getting either of these samurai models, but i can't really decide!
