  1. Indians are asians too. But indian-white blends deserve their own thread because rarely is that mix smash worthy.

Indian-White blend and you get Norah Jones

Indian gals in London are easily 2 pts higher on the scale than anything you will see in North America.

In N.America most of them came from H1B visas (engineer and science backgrounds) so you'll see the pillow hair unkept looking ones. Elsewhere in world, there are some hot looking Indian women.

  2. Be sure to get your denim chainstitched while you're in Ueno. The guy will size your denim and add the correct shink tolerance to the chainstitch hem.

I recommend to check out Americaya. There are several Americaya stores along the road of shops. Just ask for Samurai, Flathead or SDAs and they'll take you to this small alley and up the stairs is where you'll find the promise land of demin.

You can use your Amex or Visa credit cards, but must pay cash for the chainstitch. 800yen

If your ATM is from the US, the japanese ATMs won't accept your card. I couldn't find any international banks around Ueno.

The best part of getting your denim in Japan, is you get the red tab and original arcs. None of the neutered US import denim without the arcs and tabs.

  3. OK Yardsale here are the pics...

Keep in mind I have a big fucking head (hat size 7 3/8) so make your judgments

about which size you like from that. I'm glad I got the Black Nebbs as sunglasses

because If I wore them with Rx Lenses they would look kinda silly on me.

    Hope that helps.

The exposed fasteners give the nebbs character. I'm definitely going to look into those especially since I wear the same hat size. thanks for sharing

  4. 1. Walking at night on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. anywhere in the US.

    2. Living in a country being attacked by the US military

    3. Drug resistant bacteria

But i heard if i wanted additional stuff added to it (like more memory or programs) i need to order it online. But I havent had a mac before so when i buy it I want a little tutorial about how to use the thing.

Just get the essential software and install it yourself. It's pretty easy and you'll learn more about the OS by doing so.

Is it true that I have to order online to get extra's installed?... I'm sure i want Windows on it, can they do that in-store when i buy it?

An Apple expert in the store should be able to help you install Windows. Are you planning to purchase Windows XP/Vista license? Make sure they install the drivers, too.

And what if, if i decide a year down the road that i want more memory or something other hardware/software added can i send it to them and they do it?

If you know how to change the batteries of your TV remote, then adding memory to the Macbook should be easy.

Also, anyone know what kind of discounts students get? ... i looked at normal pricing online then compared it to the student discount site but it was only like 100$... but i heard from my g/f's roommate today that she got a free ipod as her student discount?

Student discounts are only $100, but each additional option you add, comes with its own discount as well. For example, Apple Care is $183 w/ student discount vs. $249 public.
