  1. i have a friend who had a pair that looked awesome after a year or so. really rough and used, with a nice classic blue jeans hue to them. no pics unfortunately, you'll have to take my word for it.

want to order a pair myself but can't seem to find a good place for it online. used to order stuff like this from sheplers.com but they stopped shipping stuff to my part of the world (scandinavia) so i'm at a loss. looked on ebay but nothing good there, all i could find were huge jeans size 48 etc. would need a pair with a 29 waist myself.

anyone else got any experience with dickies denim? and please. if you know a place where i can order a pair, let me know.

  2. right on. I seriously am considering a pair of these in the next month or so. Not sure if I want black or brown cxl. I just need to figure out how to make my wife want me to get them. I need to think up some bullshit about how it will make me a better man or something.....

I'm not sure if you're serious or not. If you are I feel sorry for you, you seem to lack direction in life. You can't have it all so either put your wife on the curb (with the kids if you got any of 'em) and get the boots or don't even think about wanting them and cherish your wife always every day. That's enlightenment.

  3. Thought I'd post a few pictures of my around one and a half year old Red Wings 9011D. Personally I find it a thrill to look through pictures in this topic and I hope at least someone will appreciate my posting these.

Only problem I have with them is that the leather part inbetween the cat's paw-like sole is getting really dried out and is starting to come loose in some places. Silly me have been forgetting to clean and rub that part with Viking Fiskarsmorning (http://www.skotornet...karsmorning.jpg) like I've been doing with the rest of the boot on a regular basis since I got them.

Unlaced, not worn, and standing on the kitchen table next to a couple of avocadoes and an unlit candelabra:

Hope no one finds this post obtrusive.

Ya'll have a very nice day.

  4. rashes? I think you need to wash them, or soak all the soap out.
Really man, you want honeycombs on your jeans, not hives on your thighs.
those looks fantastic! But rashes? Did you wash the detergent out enough?

I don't really have a rash from wearing them. I was spicing my post up a little is all. They do itch at times though, but nothing really bad. These jeans actually smell decent too, I find that a bit surprising.

And thanks. Sorry I couldn't snap them with better lighting though. Maybe some other day.

  5. I don't think anyone wants to see this, I still feel like posting it. Destroy! Die! Mongoloid! We are losing day light.

These are my 44's, about one and a half year old. Worn daily. Soaked in a gentle detergent maybe three times. The lighting isn't very good. I don't want to go out today.

These jeans are very good. I'm very happy with them, I've grown into them and they have grown into me. I have rashes on my thighs from them, but that's OK. These jeans give me friendship as well.

  6. Got my 9011's today. Really have to believe I picked the right size, 0.5 smaller and I would have struggled to put them on, and 0.5 bigger I would have felt the need to jump into every step. I wear a US 8 in Clarks Desert Boots and 7.5 in these. Now it's all about putting them to work the right way to make them comfortable. Right now they feel like big heavy chunks stuck on my feet. They really look great, they possess such lustre and rusticity.

Mandatory shitty pic, worn with my bloody LVC 44's:

  7. Not buying the answer.

To answer your question...don't think it dawned on any of the superfriends here...including you....

so why did it take you 4 or 5 years? you've been here since 2006 - never noticed did you? well i did.

time for some new shit. this is 2011 -yall been slackin.

Hey, I have an idea. Keep your trap shut.

I actually look forward to my feet being brutalised by my new Red Wings. I enjoy pain, and I enjoy struggle. It'll be a cakewalk for me. This way, after all the hurt, I'll adore my boots even more.

....I don't think you want to know what that's really saying.

Just means he's not a fan of third world exploitation or genocide.

  8. yes they do. they are very pro.

look some online shops in uk. enjoy google.

they are the cheapest in europe.

    jeg bor i Oslo.

    jeg kan forstå deg.

RW er så taxert i Norge eller Sverige.

    ridiculous.

If you know all these amazing stores I could buy Red Wing Shoes from, why not give me a link instead of telling me to use google?

Cultizm.com aren't based in Norway or Sweden, though, and they still sell it for a steep price. It is a little saddening. Guess I'll have to step up my consumption of Jim Beam to cope.
