  1. I want to thank you for you're very kind reply my friend. For your information I am nothing but a danish student, who read about the item in one of our #1 lifestyle magazines called EUROMAN. I did some research and found out that it was not really out anywhere but in NL.

I wanted to contribute with something and tell you guys - if anyone heard of it - how to get it, since I was just about to pay 60 euro TOO MUCH for it on eBay.

By the way, i'm inhere for the denim thing. Next time you want to flame somebody, please make sure that the victim is actually guilty. This was one of my first posts.

  2. Hi everybody,

Thought I wanted to contribute with something to this board, so here we go. Have you heard of the new Philips LivingColor? I think it's awesome, so I ordered one and im looking forward to receive it. Must be great while listening to music, reading a book, having sex and so on :)

It's allready out in the Netherlands, will be in the rest of Europe this summer and USA in the end of the year, as far as I understand.

Demo (not me, haven't received mine yet):

You can order it from Lampenier in the Netherlands for 149 euro, just use their contact form and write that you want to order it - that's what I did. Some dutch guy is selling them on eBay for 210 euro + 30 euro in shipping, but my guess is that he lives very close to a Lampenier store and gets them from there.

    Best regards.

  3. Hi guys,

I have searched a bit and couldn't find what I was seeking, so now I ask. Please forgive me if my question may seem lame to you - I hope it won't :)

Anyway, I made some starch resolution from potato starch (for food) and boiling water. I tried it on some clothes and nothing really worked, so I made it a lot harder. Then I put it on my black Edwin jeans and damn, it worked .. they became stiff as I wanted.

The problem is that I can clealy see where I have been starching them. It looks as if i've actually bleached them where the starch have been used, even though I have not. Why is this? I tried to wash them at 30 degress (celcius) which is very cold, hang them dry and so on - but the stains are still there. The jeans are not sticky in any way and they don't feel to stiff anymore, but the stains are still there.

Any idea why? - and what I can do?

    Thanks in advance,

  4. Hi guys,

Just recently I learned about the whole denim-addict thing (we're talking a couple of days), so basicly - I don't know anything about the subject.

Anyway, I found a couple of Edwin Nashville Red Selvage in a local store and i'm gonna buy them OR the rainbow selvage ones this monday.

    My question is:

I'm not planning to wash them in the near future (especially not if I buy the raw ones), but when I do - how will they shrink? In a local store nearby, I was told that they shrink in length but actually becomes larger in the waist. Is that true?

I feel that size 30 is maybe a bit large and 29 a bit small for my waist and I don't really know what to do.

    Thanks in advance.
