  1. My closet is, once again, lacking this very basic staple. I need a good pair of taller boots. Combat or work boots could work, Guidi backzips could work, other tall boots could work. What are you thinking of letting go?

I am not looking for reverse/suede boots, ankle boots, or derbies.

  2. http://www.farfetch.com/shopping/sale/men/search/schid-6d612b/item10037249.aspx

Picked these up on sale. They're beautiful pants, but they don't suit me. Tried on twice. Never worn otherwise. Come with the funny bag and all that noise. Not at all sure I can re-enclose them in the bag though, it's like one of those puzzle boxes.

They fit true to size. They're not very parachute-y, I don't know what the farfetch description is about.

    Price is shipped CONUS.

Bit more description below. Either these pants, or the same cut in a slightly different fabric are still selling for $1440 at the Archive.

The waist is 18.5". The pants are not the highest rise, and won't do well if you're snug in them I don't think. There is the "signature" MA+ single belt loop on the back.

The thigh measurement is a little tricky as one of the pockets which sits on the outside of the pant makes it appear larger than the actual leg dimensions. I believe 12.5-13" exactly at the crotch and 11.5-12" one inch below the crotch is most accurate.

The material is a mid-grey light-midlight weight cotton half-lined in black cotton. The color is quite nice, nearly entirely neutral though if I were forced to come up with an undertone, I would pick beige.

The pants are not slim, but they aren't particularly baggy, though they are a loose in the lower leg. In the upper leg, they are a straight fit.

  3. Picked this up from the Archive. It's beautiful, but it's simply not my style. I don't think it's a great match for the prevailing aesthetic here, but the leather is too pretty to not put up some pictures.

Labeled XXL, fits XL through the shoulders and chest with fairly slim arms, and L/slim-XL through the stomach.

Retailed for $1970, looking for $600 OBO shipped in the US, more internationally. Feel free to ask questions or make offers, this looks good in my closet and all, but I'd rather see it somewhere else.

Drkshdw jeans, labeled 36, fit large. You can see that two of the beltloops are detached from the pant, and it has been hemmed. $100 or make an offer. These are far from new.

Wrath Arcane Peacoat. I dunno, make an offer. It cost me moneys sometime, I can't remember how many or when. Seeking around $100, but again, make an offer.

Tim Hamilton Pants, labeled size 36, fit true, 33" hem. Unworn, new, tag attached. Pretty sure I've listed these here before and forgotten about them. They will be crosslisted in Men's Clothing, hope that's not a faux pas. Still have a $375 price tag on them, really don't care, make an offer, sick of them sitting in my closet. Seeking $125, but ready to be done with these.

  4. I had rubber soles put on the bottom. I haven't worn them even once. They had a few small dents in the bottom of the leather sole from being tried on when I got them. They clearly hadn't ever been worn out. They just don't seem to mesh well with my wardrobe and I continue to fail to see how to wear them. They're very cool, but I just don't know when I will end up wearing these. $1000 shipped in the continental US.

EDIT: Come with bags, tags, insoles and everything you would expect. Hell, they still have the paper stuffed in them.

  5. The coat is fairly voluminous, sleeves are slim. For a 52 with average shoulders, it will be fine. For a 52 with broadish shoulders, you would need skinny arms. Will fit a size 50 excellently. Zipped leather pouches in each pocket. Pouches button in and out. Zippers around neck are backed by leather. Zippers around neck are functional, but are purely cosmetic, there is no detachable part of the coat.

From the subject, size is 52, fits a 50 or 52 well, price $375 includes domestic shipping. International shipping will not be cheap, but I'll shop around for the cheapest price I can find for you.

  7. Man, this is so weird. I've bought (I think) 8 things from gutpocho and sold probably about as many to him. Every transaction was smooth as any I've had.

    Fuck this guy.

Mods, if you're reading, this dude ran from the situation instead of trying to help solve it. He ripped me off and then refused to help me get a refund.

Paypal just ruled in my favor and refunded my price but I'd block this guy's IP if possible.

Buyers beware...this guy will take your cash and not send you your shit after a flurry of excuses and then goes into hiding.

So through paypal, the case is closed and I have my money back. On here though, I'm sure he'll continue to lurk around and try to screw people out of cash.

    You've been warned.

Thanks to everyone for their input.
