  1. Hey guys, my name is Eric (reddit: @rok_ IG: @rok__) and I live in San Francisco. I've been wearing raw denim for the past 9 years frequently favoriting Iron Heart, Sugar Cane, Warehouse, and 3Sixteen. These are my 2nd pair of black jawnz, first being my 21oz IH-21. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I've lost a significant amount of weight and all my old pairs from 2006-2012 do not fit anymore, so I've been in need of a new pair of blacks since then.

I'm into a lot of random things aside from clothing, I enjoy working on cars, riding my motorcycle, riding my bikes, photography, technology, music, and cooking. I do track my STi and find a way to frustratingly wrench on any vehicle I can get my hands onto. I also go to concerts fairly often. I work in mobile marketing, so I have to get my wear activities outside of my desk.

I've had almost a month of wear into them. I look forward to seeing how they wear in more as they've progressed nicely in the past month.

  2. am i the only one that has had their pocket rip out on them..

worn fairly often since release. i repaird my crotch two times, and have a nice ballpoint ink stain on them. the wear is pretty soft for some reason, but they've come along nicely.. my stacks have some nice wear ridges on the ends near the inside seams.

post pictures when home from work.

btw what is a good way to get this pen stain out?! its only a day old...

  3. Levi's 501 STF

    Gap Gough

    Nudie Straigt Sven

Cheap Monday Latino black w/ buckle

    Warehouse SUFU 660

    Uniqulo Regular Selvege

thats it for now.. i have a couple pairs i don't wear anymore so yeah and most of them are torn to pieces from riding my bike..

i think next will be 21oz for sure

  4. just leave it. i have had slurpee and starbucks vanilla latte on mine for the past few days. i drive really fast and its snowing where i am ... got good brakes though.

i just hate how chocolate cakes on and crusts doo doo like on denim.. maybe that be all fabric i dabbed the spot a lot with water at the gas station when filling up and its not sooo bad so i guess i'll wait it out. but then again i need to take it to the shop to get the crotch reinforced so i might need the soak before my tailor thinks i like to doo doo on my crotch

  5. 45 minute warm/warm cycle. Shrank from 42x34 down to 38.5x32. I'm quite pleased with the fit. They're the skinniest jeans I own, but also the most comfortable right off the bat.

    Inseam: 34.5

    Rise: 11.5

    Back Rise: 15.5

    Inseam: 32

    Waist: 19.25x2

    Hem: 8.5

woot someone went with the 38 other than me!!!

mine are still a touch big on the thigh and waist.. lower leg is perfect.. i'll hot wash in a month then do a crotch and front pocket repair.

  6. i'll post pix up later but im taking pix on a weekly basis, and after looking at where cotton threads were coming loose on merzbot's pix im getting the same loose threads on the crotch and pocket areas.. also my leather patch has taken a beating.. so guess its not the contruction its the fact that these jeans are wearing in faster than any pair i've owned... but thats based on the fact that i've only had sanforized jeans.. i've got some wicked fading on my stacking and button ataris starting to show up too. i'll try to take pix asap but i like how its turning out so far.. just need to get some crotch reinforcement before i hop on the bike with these though..

  7. Drastic difference between pre and post-soak fits Rok. Post-soak fit pics look real good though, man.

thanx. i think a little more shrinkage and it would be perfect. there was a lot of shrinkage after the soak tho. which i'm happy with. i dont want to walk around with balloon pants on again (high school was such a drag)
