  1. The riding season is almost over up hear so I can imagine its getting colder down in KY. I don't want to preach but go with leather, ballistic nylon is one use. Also the ones you picked don't seem to zipper to you jacket which is a super bad idea. If you go down your jacket rides up and your pants fall down and thats not good what's so ever. But if you want the textile pants find something with a 360 degree zipper (if you jacket accomadates) or at least a 8 or 10 inch zipper in the back to zip to the jacket. And its not how cool you look its how safe you are.

  2. I emailed revolve and the said they were expecting their shipment to be coming in the first week of November, all the styles they said they were getting were:

Good Society Straight Leg Jean in Plant Indigo Dyed

    plant indigo

Good Society Straight Leg Jean in Synthetic Indigo

    synthetic indigo

Good Society Slim Leg Jean in Synthetic Indigo Dyed

    indigo dyed

Good Society Straight Leg Jean in Indigo

    synthetic indigo

Good Society Straight Leg Jean in Overcast Wash

    overcast wash

Good Society Boot Cut Jean in Indigo

    synthetic indigo

Good Society Boot Cut Jean in Overcast Wash

    overcast wash

Slim Leg Jean in Overcast Wash

    overcast wash

Obviously not all that good but the selvages are there.

I'm not sure if they are getting the washes in by November. I think the only styles that are available are the Raw and Selvage. I talked to Steve and he said the washes are the SS 08 releases.

Also we plan on having some fits in before Thanksgiving if anyone in the Cleveland area wants some. If you want me to notify you when they come in just PM me.

  3. btw dont use denim to patch up denim. you can do it, but it's better imo to use a piece of shirt or something. handkerchief if ur on that bum status.

Good Idea I'll see if I could get something thats all black to put behind it like a handkerchied. Also the reason I brought up selvage denim was becasue most of the regular denim at Joanns Fabrics for exapmle are always real ugly and cheap.

  4. Hey guys. I tried google and nothing came up. Do you guys know of any good trade shows coming up? I'm getting ready to start buying for the launch of my store and are looking for some shows. The only one I know of is Magic and thats in Aug.

  5. i think i confused the ss07 and ss08 collections. i checked out some pieces of the ss 07 collection at brigade in cleveland heights. (clothingbrigade.com) sorry

Ugh.... After seeing this I wish I would of stopped by after I got off work. I rode by today and couldn't find a parking spot. Its good to see someone else in cleveland on here!

  6. Hey guys when I was in Baltimore I stopped by this streetware shop and they carried a line called Avant Guard from Japan. I think they are the only store State side that carries them. I was just wondering if anyone has a website I can check out that has some more of their line.

  7. I'mnot very fimilar with selvedge denim, But I think i get the gist. It has to do with the loom its woven on and the ends of the cloth right? I notice when everyone posts the pictures of there selvedge denim that on the inside seam the material on the ends of the peice of cloth there are sewn together. How do you cut the pattern and the jeans so that the edges of the selvedge denim meet?

If you go here and go down a little to the pictures of the inside seam you'll see what i mean. All my jeans are surged instead of having this.

  8. Hey guys, me and a coworker were talking the other day and got interested in tinkering around making some jeans. I have a few questions. One, where can I buy bolts of premium denim. I'm looking for a dark indigo and a medium indigo denium. Also interested in denim bolts with lyrca for women. Would also prefer a denim that is accepting of wash and distressing processes. I know I know that might make you guys cringe but even though I am a fan of raw denim not everyone is.

The second questions is. We were going to mock up patterns with cheap denim from a fabric store just to make the patterns. But after we make the patters for our sizes(i figure we would just pin and adjust it on ourselves) how do we scale up the patterns to from my size a 28 to say a 30 while keeping the thighs in proportion.

    thanks in advance guys, Mike.
