Just discovered this cool brand called Grn Apple Tree, from the stuff I saw at this butique/shop near me they seem to specialize in hoodies and grafic Ts. That's about all I know. I saw one hoodie with these cool birds and tree branches that I must have, at least when I get some more spending money. Saving all dough for an apartment, so spending is being curbed.
Anyways, wanted to know if anyone had any of their gear, knows places that carry it, or know anything interesting about the company.

I'm way into music in general, and have around 85 gigs worth, a large chunk of it being jazz. Jazz just seems to have a lot more musical depth and complexity than a lot of other music. All the aforementioned individuals (Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Duke Elington, John Cotrane, Bill Evans, Charles Mingus, Dave Bruebeck, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Thelonious Monk, etc.) just seem to have way more talent at what they do, compared to even my favorite rock bands. Think about how much material Miles Davis, Bruebeck, or Coltrane have, and all of it's good. They all have stacks of albums and for the most part they're all decent. Not to mention in many instances you can have 5 versions of the same song, all musically unique, with different solos and variations. When I think of rock bands that have comparable amounts of really good material only a handful come to mind. Maybe Led Zeplin, U2, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Jimi Hendrix. (All the aforementioned have great live recordings where they simply play music.) Jazz performers aren't concerned whether their song is going to be to long for radio, they just play and express their vision. Not to mention, in what other genre do the very best talents constantly collaborate with each other? The closest thing I can think of is hip hop to a very limited extent. (Producer collaborations/Blackstar (mos def/Talib Qweli)
I must admit I know little about current jazz and am taking notes from the forum. If anyone else knows current jazz well, please post some recommendations.
P.S. Just started collecting jazz on vinyl! It's amazing, and actually rather afordable if you buy it in bulk via ebay. At the moment I have a good chunk of the Miles Davis discography, dito for Bruebeck, and an album here and there from other guys I found at thrift stores. When I get some more spending money I'm going to try and get some Coltrane, Monk, and Dexter Gordon.

1.Adidas Originals (I have way too many sneaks)
2. Nudie Jeans (comfortable, stylish, and more afordable than widely known/distributed jeans such as Diesel.)
3. John Varvatos (pure f-ing genious, jeans, jackets, whatever, just wish I could aford so of his more elaborate designs.)
4. Helmut lang (Cut and material selection is crazy, plus everything has this simplistic sleak design to it.)
5. Marc by Marc Jacobs (crazy jackets!)
6. Adriano Goldschmied (his jeans are just really freak'n comfortable.)
7. American Aparel (afordable staples of the closet, long sleeve ts, short sleeve ts, hoodies.)
8. Miu Miu (some sweet stuff, just wish I had the dollars for it.)
9. D&G (same as above)
10. Puma (always creative and original)

I went to the Dodger Stadium for Jackie Robinson day as well. Kicked ass! Cool comemorative, and one of the best ball games I'd ever been to. Stuck it to the rival Padres grabbing the series, 9-2 victory! I got Mike Cameron's auto after the game which was cool.
Overall the dodgers are looking great Ethier is heating up, and hopefully Kemp will be off the DL soon. The only big loss is Schmitt.
Juan Pierre is pissing me off though! He needs to go in the closet and figure out where the hell he left his game...sometimes he scares me when playing outfield (and frankly I have a better throughing arm.), and I don't care if he can steal a million bases, if he can't get to the first one it doesn't matter much.
Dodgers NL Champs!

Thanks...I think I had a small mental lapse...don't know why I didn't think to check superfuture itself, or past threads.

Was wondering where some cool spots around sunset, downtown LA, or Santa Monica could be found? I know that's a little broad. Just wondering if they're are any particularly delicious and afordable restaurants? ($20 and under) Any cool areas to walk around, Or any can't miss used clothing butiques or thriftstores? I'd imagine it would be a little easier to find used designer clothes around some of those areas. Also any record stores aside from Amoeba?
Your thoughts...

Back in the day, maybe 4 or so years ago I flew from Copenhagen, Denmark to Madrid via some sort of Europian union airline, can't remember the name though. It was kick ass! TV in every seat, good selection of movies, you could play video games via the nintendo style controller, 3 course meal! Was nice...very simular to Luftansa.
More recently I flew El AL to Tel Aviv, one of the nicest flights I've been on. Top notch survice, security, big seats. A+

Yah I'd like to get something out of my studying abroad, I'm not interested in taking a huge course load though. I want to absorb the culture and lifestyle of where ever I go. I'm not that into school...more interested in music, movies, business/marketing, art, clothes, culture. So far school has been a means to an end to travel and gain new experiences, that and party.

I'm trying to figure out where I should study abroad for a semester next year. I'd love to go to Italy, but I don't know the language and cost is definitely an issue. My Spanish, all though rusty, could be re-learned in a matter of days so I was considering Spain, which I went to for a month or so 5 years ago. On that note it seems like the majority of south america would be very cost effective. I was told you can live like a king in most of the continent due to the dollar being worth a ton there... just curious to hear so traveled/experienced peoples thoughts.
Currently dropping my cash into the normal vices; denim, alcohol, sneakers, LPs...so I'm going to stop spending and start saving.
