  1. From SOHH.com

This crooner is known to be stepping out on his wifey and getting into a sex triangle with another male singer and a "knockout" ex-wifey of someone else. The married crooner in question has been seen getting extra freaky with the ex-wifey, all while she has a jump off (the other singer) that everybody in the industry knows about. The crooner has broken ties with a certain "promiscuous" producer and is still trying his damndest to make a comeback. But as soon as pics surface of the crooner in question trying to pony up on said knockout ex-wifey--his current wife might have some new material to rap about.

In what seems like the first time two super producers have put their beef on wax, Scott Storch, the white man who blesses rappers with beats, and Timbaland, the black man who makes white people sound hip made their beef official with two recently released tracks.

Timbaland started the beef by jabbing on his track Give It To Me from his upcoming album Shock Value dropping March 27:

when timbo is in the party everbody put up their hands/ I get a half a mill for my beats you get a couple grand-d-d-d-d…/ I’m a real producer and you just the piano man/ your song gonna top the charts, I heard em, I’m not a fan-n-n-n-n…

Apparently this was enough for Scott Storch to stop taking corny looking pictures with over-sized sun glasses and pick up a mic. In response on track called Built Like That, the piano man Scott Storch gets some stuff of his chest and really airs it out. He accuses Timbaland of beat jacking, taking steroids, and of Jimmy Iovine fronting him Nelly Furtado so he could get his money back. Whether these allegations are true or not, one hilarious lyric is undeniable:

what you try to lose weight try to get some respect/ still aint lost that pack of franks on the back of your neck

On Fakin It Aint Cool, the combination of three of the Bay’s best rappers on one track is like making a pizza with an eclectic group of ingredients and finding that they actually complement each other quite well. From the second the song starts, P.S.D. spits hard and one can instantly taste how the Bay flava changes a familiar 80’s classic. In this case, it’s George Michael’s Careless Whisper and the trio turn it into something new and exciting. Keak da Sneak spices up the second verse with his trademark raspy voice and feverish flow. At the end, we have Messy Marv’s saucy flow wrapping things up all up. The song is off of the group’s new album Da Bidness which is in stores now.

  4. A quality pair of denim jeans is like a good girlfriend. You like them because they are something new and fresh. You can’t just settle on the first one, as you have to try different ones on and find the perfect fit. Whether they are straight leg, bootcut, or “nuttersâ€, you also have to find one that matches your style. After meeting your match, you can’t wait for that weekend or big party when you debut them to all of your friends. From then on you are inseparable from them. You always want them on you or can’t be without them. When your having a bad day, you can always count on them to make you look and feel good. Like a good girlfriend, they have to be durable, you need to find one that doesn’t get worn down after a couple late nights partying. Like the outline of that Nokia on your front pocket or the wallet fade on your back pocket, a good pair of jeans is something you make memories with and once lost, you look back and reminisce about all the good times you shared.

Today’s Breezy of the Week is Veronica Rordriquez or Ms. Veronica as she likes to be called. Now I know what your saying. Why does this beezy look familiar son? Well, your probably seen her in Kanye West’s Gold Digger music video and Rhymefest’s video Brandnew. As a Bay Area native, she’s also been featured in videos for the King of the Supa Dupa Hyphy Keak da Sneak. In October 2005, she made an appearance in XXL Magazine’s Eye Candy section. You can see more of this bangin’ breezy in a couple of months as she is set to launch her own site in the next couple of months. But, until then enjoy more pics of her after the jump.

  6. Cuuuuurtis! Cam officially released his 50 Cent diss “Cuurtis†on YouTube. The video starts with a picture of the rabbit tooth G-Unit boss on the cover of GQ looking unaware and confused of the type of beef he got himself into. Quite frankly, a Cam beef, in this case meaning the pink panther surfing on top of cars in the middle of the night, all while UPS drivers, homeless people, random breezys, and traffic cops take turns screaming “Cuuuurtis!†Then video opens up with Cam hopping out of the funeral 50 bodied him in. From there hilarity ensues. Halfway into the video it breaks into an intermission of a Cam associate giving a lecture on Snitchin’ 101. Then the video ends with another Cam song filmed in what looks to be like a cheeseteak shop (damn thats gutter). Cuuuurtis!!! However, it was curious to see that Jim Jones and Juelz Santana were not in the video (maybe they were too busy making those skull belt buckles…haha).

You lame dudes better run out and buy yourselves some extra vaseline cause the good people at Sports Illustrated just blessed us with their 2007 Swimsuit Issue which features Ms. Beyonce on the cover. Now I know some of you females are already hatin’ cause you think she’s a screen/camera hog, and the rest of you are hatin’ cause thats just your hater nature, but this little “kitty cat†looks so…hottt, I’d clip her toe-nails with my teeth! (JK, but you know a super-fine broad, will make you do some dumb shit!) Fellas, if you thought Tyra “4×4 Forehead†Banks, was hot when she graced the cover, wait till you bag da mag with B’ on it. The only thing I’m mad about is how she’s hidin’ the goods and how Joe Camel (Jay-Z) keeps spendin’ time with my girl (Jay…â€To da Left! Fall Back, SON!â€)

  8. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, were double dipping and posting two love themed videos. For you heartbroken asses, here’s the epic 9 minute Thriller-esque video off of Justin Timberlake’s Sophomore LP FutureSex / LoveSounds. The video features Scarlett Johanssen, the girl he left that wrinkled old crumpcake Cameron Diaz for. Good job Justin. Keeping up with his theme of writing a verbal “F*ck You†to a girl on every album he has released, this song tells all those P.F. Double B’s (pretty faced broke beezys) who leave you for someone else only to pull a switcheroo, but by that time its too late to go ahead and get lost. I thought I told you…

Now to lift those spirits comes a preview of the upcoming video from Tila Tequila (government name Tila Nguyen) entitled “I Love Youâ€. The song is produced by Lil’ John and features a half-naked Tila bouncing around and screaming the entire time. What’s this song about? I don’t know, I wasn’t really listening, but you gotta love those fiery VC’s. Happy Valentine’s Day!

  9. freegoldwatch.JPG

Free Gold Watch is a San Francisco based screen-printing / clothing company. Started last year by Matt Henri, the brand is gaining world-wide recognition for its silk screen printed shirts and for its Louis Vuitton-esque print. One standout design features Bay Area artists Too Short, E-40 and Mac Dre and other rap legends such as 2Pac and Biggie. According to Free Gold Watches website, Matt started the company in his garage near the Haight-Ashbury District. Without a job, he supported himself by selling his t-shirt designs to local stores like TRUE. He called it Free Gold Watch because each shirt comes with a super long tag that one can cut-away and get a printed gold watch (get it?). His collections of shirts and hoodies has widely expanded since then and Free Gold Watch will celebrate its one year anniversary in April of 2007. More pics after the jump.

  10. If you're looking for some good reggae check out Aux Armes et Caetera by Serge Gainsbourg. This is the first freggae (French reggae) album from 1979. It features some big name Jamaican musicians like Sly and Robby and even has Bob Marley's wife on a few tracks. Gainsbourg is known for his dark poetic slurred delivery and the music is very good. Definitely worth listening to.

And if you're just a music fan in general, you have to check out Gainsbourg's 1971 classic concept album Histoire de Melody Nelson. This album is constantly sampled to this day in hip hop beats and has influenced the likes of Tricky, Beck and Air.

PS - "Negusa Nagast" is the title of one of Gainsbourg's songs from the Aux Armes et Caetera.
