Would I be able to iron that sh*t out? They look fecking awful in person, even come with turn-ups already rolled into them.

  2. Selvage denim was bubbling along nicely in UK and London in particular in mid to late 90s. Interstate in Covent Garden were slanging Denime, Lee and the Edwin Nashvilles that I got in '97 (date on tag)

92-94 second hand Lee/Levis denim from a guy who now runs a vintage store in The Lanes in Brighton when he had a stall in Deptford High Street

95-97 scored 3 pairs of Lee 101Z for £20 a pair. Wondered why they were so stiff. My first encounter with raw.

98-01 3 pairs of Edwin Nashvilles from Interstate when they were £60

  4. Champion in Japan have done a 'heritage' range of the old reverse weave cuts made in China (I think current US retail blanks are all made in Mexico and cut huge), with proper metalwork and longer cuffs and hems.

Super Rag have them http://www.rakuten.co.jp/super-rag/509724/509965/ and ship

There is also a premium "Made in USA" range that is double the price and available from the Champion Rakuten store
