  1. 3. Acne Mic Desert, 32x32. A nice dark wash, with just a bit of lap whiskers and the subtle beginnings of knee-fades. A great "dressy" alternative for the summer when you can't be buggered sweating in unwashable raws. Also, there's tons of excess indigo caked in, so expect good fades.

    waist: 32"

    inseam: 31.5"

    thigh: 11"

    knee: 8.66"

    hem: 8.25"

    MSRP $290, yours $75 shipped conUS.

  2. 1. Paul Smith Starr brogues, off-white dip-dye, sz 8. These probably need very little introduction. I was gonna get them for myself, but they're just too narrow for me, so I grabbed them for whomever (especially in light of the rumored sole construction switchover). A little shopwear on the soles, but unworn.

    12.5" long x 4" at the widest.

    They're on Blubee right now for $465, here they're yours $175 shipped conUS

    2. I believe these size 10 Paul Smith suede bals are the Chen (alternate views of which, in different colors, can be seen here, here and on the website), though they also resemble a leather-soled version of the Clapton. These are an awesome Brit alternative to the Yankee sockless-with-seersucker summertime buck. It's the sand suede color you associate with bucks, but with a captoe and a more Paul Smithly shape. Again, these are not cemented. Same story as the Starrs: they have probably been tried on a few times, but clearly never worn outside.

  3. Lace-up/side-zipper 7 eyelet combat boot with details like a cool suede tongue and "pulls" at the anklels to keep wrapped-around lace excess in check. The triple-stitched quarters come forward, almost like a monkeyboot style, but end further back, resulting in a kind of captoe look. Laces are flat & waxed, soles are vibram. Made in Italy, come with box, branded bags and extra laces.

    They run a little large. I currently have a pair in EU 41, which measures 12" by 4.5" and fits a US 9D perfectly, but I can also get 42.5 and (iirc) 43 if anyone is interested.

    MSRP $575, $320 shipped conUS

  5. Brand new Dries van Noten casual belt. 1.33" wide, nice hefty buckle. belt is 37" long in total, with 5 holes spaced an inch apart each (middle hole fits a 31" waist). Microscopic silver flecks (visible in the 3rd pic) give it a subtle kind of luster up close, but aren't obtrusive or flashy under real world conditions (see 2nd pic)

    MSRP $195, yours $70 shipped conUS

    I've sold a couple things here before, and can dig up vouchs from my PM box if you care, and also have sold lotsa suits & such over at the Steez.

  6. just bought this You Must Create wool shirt jacket from New Dandyism, and the fit is ever so slightly off. I thought about having it altered (as outlined in this thread), but when I asked my tailor about it, he said it'd be very time consuming and pretty costly. The price of doing what I wanna do is frankly more than I want to invest in this shirt. The list price at New Dandyism is $209. With the StyleForum discount, it's $178 plus tax. I'm offering it for $170 shipped conUS.

    Needless to say, it's only been tried on and all tags are attached and I'll ship it in the fancy space age YMC bag. I'll do measurements and such after work if anyone is interested.

  7. Since the RB14 is one of Rag & Bone's lesser known cuts, I've done the searching for you and compiled a primer (thanks Mauro,LA Guy, Kent & DnW):

    Denimbar's rb14 page (note that Mauro stocked the Dark Blue model)

    RB14 is based off a vintage wrangler and has a higher rise but meant to be worn lower.
    This is actually a Wrangler based Rag&Bone body. Check out the felled outseam, the Wrangler coin pocket, and the "shadow" Wrangler style tag on the bak right pocket.
    The fit is similar to LVC 1947 (which is my favorite cut), but straight legged instead of slightly tapered... I am still admiring the beautiful construction. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

  8. Up for sale: NWT RB14b in "light blue", which is frankly more of a medium blue; it'd go excellently with white Chucks, Clarks in "stone", light browns or black, IMO. Really solid, even color (no distressing) to add some depth to your rotation, nice rigid denim and quality North Carolina construction.

    PRICE DROP:

    MSRP $250+, yours $100 shipped conUS (int'l = actual shipping - $5)

    waist = 14.5" across

    inseam = 31"

    hem = 8.75" across

  9. Measurements:

    pit-to-pit: 22"

    shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back: 17.5"

    collar seam down the "spine" of the back: 29"

    sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff): 25"

    also here are some shitty indoor cellphone pix for the imaptient. Better, natural light ones will be taken tomorrow if necessary. I noticed, on closer inspection, that it's actually not black & white as I'd always thought. It's actually black and light grey.

  10. Up for sale is a brand new, unworn pair of Acne "desert" Mics. 34x32, measures true, 8.5" hem. Postively overloaded with indigo and w/ a white weft, so it should fade nicely despite being rinsed. Only pre-distressing is some light whisks at the lap, no knee fades or faux honeycombing, so you could easily have them hemmed up if need be. A nice, dressy jean to wear to work on fridays or out at night when you need a break from your stiff-ass raws.

    MSRP $290, yours $100 shipped conUS

  11. 2. Trovata brown corduroy 100% cotton Duffle Coat. Also from F/W '06, the last collection before the founding bros parted ways and the brand fizzled. It has 2 chest pockets, 2 hip pockets, 4 toggles and a sky blue/peach/faded brick plaid-button out vest lining (which itself has an interior cord flap pocket and some mumbo jumbo about a murder mystery in the swiss alps inside). The hood as well as all the pockets are lined with that flannelly plaid (Sleeves are different though). Measurements on the way, but its basically a "Fall 40" or a "Winter 38", which is to say sized to allow for the layering called for by those repective seasons. Again, I'm unsure of original MSRP, but it seems to have been marked down by Barney's to $385 before making it to me, so I'll call it $190 shipped conUS.

  12. Hi Sufu. I'm generally more of a shirt & tie kinf of StyleForum guy myself, but I can get my hands on a couple items that may be of interest to this crowd:

    The first is a rag & bone black cotton resin coated jacket , similar in style to the EG engineer jacket... maybe some of you know the jacket I'm describing, I thin DenimBar had it? here's a stock photo

    ph2006112201734dq0.jpg

    The second would be a brown cord Trovata duffle coat with leather toggle loops and big horn toggles, buttoning chest & waist pockets, cool sleeve lining, hood, removable plaid inner-lining with metal buttons, you know, all those little details Trovata built their brand on.

    The sizes would both be Mediums. Any interest? Should I grab these?
