Not to play down ordo's work, but masking Sidney in that picture is a relatively easy job. He has a very prominent silhouette which is easy to trace with the pen.

If you want to be good at masking, learn the pen tool. Master the pen tool. Practice, practice, practice and get the hang of it. It will make you much better and more efficient at masking.

On a related note, I wonder how accurate the brain simulates pain in dreams. I've broken bones and gotten shot in dreams, but have never had these happen to me in real life. And I have never read testimonials or anything that would give me a remote idea what getting shot would feel like.

Reading lowrey's post made me think even more. How could a 4-5 year old possibly imagine/replicate a feeling of getting shot? Could it be an indication of a past-life experience?

Just let go of her, man. You're letting your ego get in the way. Respect her wishes, and accept the fact you messed up. Definitely do not call her; it takes two people to have a conversation, and you're making the mistake of thinking she wants to communicate with you.
