  1. I'm not a huge sweater in comparison to others, but I do sweat and the collars of my white dress shirts, t-shirts, polos, always get that yellow stain. Sometimes I find that I can't even wash it off. How can I prevent this (if possible) and how do I clean it??

  2. I want to order a pair of superfine's online....but I don't know if i should get 30 or 32 waist size. They don't seem like they're raw, I believe they're cotton, so I don't know about the whole buy small and let them stretch idea. Ideally, a 31 would be perfect, but in general, is it better to size up or down?

I normally wear 32x32 but my jeans are feeling looser these days as I have gotten a little skinner. I have a pair of unwashed apc NS that are size 30. They were tight in the beg., but now are kinda loose on me. If i washed them, would they shrink back to the original size?

With all this said, can anyone plz advise whether to purchase the size 30 or 32 superfine's?

  3. thanks for the above input.

correct me if im wrong, but aren't diors like ~400 bucks or something outrageous like that? i think i read that on superfuture somewhere..but not sure. the pradas are like somewhere in the 2's.

also while on the topic of diors, i live close to LA, so would the LA stores have a lot of diors in diff sizes?

  4. I saw these pair of pradas i liked in the store a week ago but they didn't have my size. anybody know any online retailers that sell em?

also, whats everyone's take on prada denim?

  5. I don't know where you do your "research" but Hong Kong is far from equal with China in terms of economic power and growth. Many businessmen in Hong Kong are flocking over to the mainland because of the huge potential. Also, when schools in the U.S are swapping Spanish for Mandarin in their public education systems then you know China is gonna be BIG.

That said, I would choose Japan/HK for the experience and Shanghai for economic reasons/good preparation if you want to hit the hot Chinese market.

way to state the obvious. nobody's denying china's economic growth and the manufacturers that are flocking over there. but have you taken a look at the financial services that are available in hong kong? all the banking, all the finance industries, that reside there? it is far more developed in hong kong than in china

  6. i am having to make pretty much the same decision as you. i am trying to choose between hong kong or shanghai to study business. like people said above, china is a juggernaut, but at the same time, hong kong is equal, if not bigger. i have been doing some research and hong kong is still projected to be the stronger economic center out of the two, for about the next ten years. with that said, i still haven't made my decision yet. shanghai seems to be the funner city but hong kong is better for shopping, and if you're on superfuture, you probably value that on some level.

i think shanghai may be better for entreunership (spelling?) but hong kong may be better for finance. just my two cents

  7. hahaha you guys all bring up good points. i speak mandarin (parents from taiwan). i had my heart set on this business program in shanghai, but the other day, my friend told me to check out hong kong. i was looking at the course offerings and hong kong seems a lot more finance/banking related wheras the courses for shanghai are more like "business in china" "developments in the upcoming chinese economy"-esque. i still havent completely decided which direction i want to take, but i'm just stuck between the two b/c they both seem like they have good things about each. it's hard to pinpoint i guess which one is better, but i just wanted to hear other opinions.

and yes, i heard the girlsand partying in shanghai are amazing. i dont know about hong kong though hahaha

  8. yeah actually i've been to all those places. hmm gotta check out union again, guess i didn't notice the visvim. if carve is that new store attached to blends in oc, then i've been there. either way, that store attached to blends is pretty cool. its super small but they carry like apc, idiom, some mj vans, and those commes de garoness (spelling?) wallets

  9. where do they sell brands like uniqlo, visvim, pbj, and other brands like that? i live in LA/OC, and i was wondering if there were any stores that carry em? or, what are the websites that you can get stuff off of? i looked at the website list and loooked through a good amount of them, but didn't see that much stuff i like. can anybody just give me the cliff notes version of that list, with some of the "top" sites ?
