my boyfriend's shrink to fits, $40, purchased at sear's:

~5 months of regular wear, one soak

I'm thinking about getting skull lindas. what size to get if I'm a 31 waist?

as in you normally wear size 31? I'm a 28/29 and I got a 4 in the one wash, they're pretty snug. You should probably get a 5.

1. Size down 1, 2 if you want them super tight. That being said, I didn't size down at all and they didn't stretch to the point of being baggy.

2. Not sure about the kind of dye, but the whole turning things you come in contact with blue DEFINITELY applies. Your fingers will be blue tinted for the first few months of wear, it's kind of a bitch. This could be amended by washing them a few times immediately but I can't personally attest to the success of this.

3. I have a straight leg that ended up being pretty slim because they're stretch and the hips etc. stretched out. Pictures to come if you're interested, but they are straight leg and the girl cut.

good society makes a well-priced straight leg/skinny/boot cut jean with a great fit. They are comparable to denimbirds, but are of better quality and cheaper:D

someone who has experience with iron heart denim-

i bought a pair of 21 oz tomboys and theyre amazing, but i cant button them... do they stretch at all?

H&M sells things that cost that much??? woah.

thats weird though, i've never had that problem with bleach or APCs. mine never turned anything indigo, even after escapades in the rain with a white shirt (for a girl, this in itself poses problems).

i sized up one when i got denimbirds, and i wish i had sized up two. they also dont stretch very much, even with fairly strenuous wear.

i hooked up with a semi-random guy in APC's and instead of relying on the button fly as a deterrent for anything too hardcore, i explained to him why i love my button fly so much and demonstrated how easy it was to undo.

the worst part is i dont regret it at all.

i got myself a pair of denimbirds tight. theyre straight leg but REALLY tight (in fact size down at least one) so theyre sort of skinny jeans. they also make a super tight model with a skinny leg.

the fit is fabulous. the denim is a little thin, but its good for summer.

i hate boys.

anybody know if denim birds are sanforized?

Iron Heart Tomboys: anyone have any experience? I've been dreaming about them...

heres my problem with this:

i can justify paying over $100 for jeans when i wear them to death and love them the whole time. if you buy some "okay" jeans, you might find yourself not wearing them consistently, not getting good fades, and not really liking them. so sorry to be redundant, but just pay a little extra and get yourself some APC's.

Ahh...Rale I was just looking up sizing onfo on the A.P.C hipsters...I love the way they look!!!

I am more into skinnier cuts then boot fits, so they would work for me.

How far down did you size in your hipsters? One or two from regular waist size?

i only sized down one, but i would size down two if i were you. mine are looser than i would have liked.

straight leg, perfect rise (not so high, but not 'crack' low), and the superb fades for which everyone loves APC.

although im going to invest in some ironheart tomboys at some point in the future when i have $245.... they look amazing.
