I diden't know if this should go in the "this or that" post, but I figured I would take a chance.

I had my eye on the Ironheart 21oz for quite some time now, but I was told that they don't yield wear patterns as much as some of the other jeans due to a silicone coating over the denim. Can anyone confirm this?

If what I was told about the Ironhearts is true, then I think I would lean towards a pair of Nudies or Samurais. Or, is there something else that I'm missing?

I guess what I'm looking for is a jean that has a unique look to it (stiching / embroidery) produces a pretty clear wear pattern. Any suggestions?

Not to derail the train, but what do people think of some of the new Diesel designs? I'm not very knowledgable about denim, but of the more commonly known designers (7fam, R&R, etc) I kinda like them the best.

Checking out posts lately, it dosen't seem like Diesel is all that popular, and I was wondering the reason for this.

I'm curious as to what kind of shoe and jean combo people like the most.

Personally, I go with (suprising) boots and bootcut jeans. It took me awhile to find a pair that went well with my jeans, but I finally settled on a pair of boots by Guess ( http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/18121002/c/20.html ). I've been pretty happy with em. I like the outfit to get heavier-looking from the waist down, and the boots do that well =)
