Their website does blow. They try really hard to stay below the radar. If you're in NYC try Selima Optique (there's one on Wooster with the full range and there's another location a block away from the MJ store)

All Cutler & Gross eyewear is hand made (no molds). I have a pair of the clear horned-rim style. People constantly stop me and ask about them. They are definitley worth the upcharge.

Leah and here people are good folks. She's a fashion and branding expert. They have other T's that are much better.

They coined the phrase "Men are the new Woman" which is being used on a new ABC television pilot.

(Not to mention how the phrase is very reflective of some dudes here)

Is it just me or is Jeff "Staple" a really bad designer?

His stuff is boring, the store is lousy [although the mags and books are really good],

but he makes more money than a lot of guys in the scene?

Jeff is a great guy with an excellent business acumen. You only see his situation from a consumer level. Taste-makers on his level rarely design, they actually lead entire design and creative teams.

You should dig a little deeper into streetwear culture, you'll find that things that may look boring have much more meaning.

I worked with him on a project 5 years ago the guy has vision and is cool as a fan.
