  1. Hey guys,

    well this is my problem.

My aunty from Hong Kong arrived at holland today and she brought me a pair of Flat Head F380's in W33. (usual I'm a nudie's 31 or 32W) They fit me quite well.

and that is the point. I haven't soaked them yet. I like the bit regular/loose fit, bit variation on my other slim jeans..

So my problem is; would they still fit me after the soak? They would shrink up to +/- 1,25" in the waist after the soak and stretch back max 1" again, reading Selfedge's information. What would be the best method to soak them and for how long? (hours?)

    - Cold soak for 1 hour or 3 hours?

    - Warm soak for 1 hour or 3 hours?Or am I thinking completely wrong?

here some fit pictures (Made when I got them just like half a day or so)

As you see they're a bit loose at the back, but that should be solved by soaking..

Any advice or help is appreciated...

  3. Could anyone give me a comparison between Nudie Slim jim / Regular Ralf ( Both I wear 32.. I can wear em low.. how i like it) and a Flathead 1005? Can't seem to find good comparisons or measurements.. Maybe I could just take my original size? or a 33 because of the hot soak shrinkage?

    Help would be appreciated.

  4. I'm searching for measurements for the Flathead 1005 (size 32?).

    Napoleon, hail!

I was thinking the same as you while screening this thread, because 9 out of 10 guys give different sizing methods (like "slim jim - size down" while I got them in my regular size)

But anyways, here some of my own experiences of my jeans

Pace P-006 True to size (You'll get a saggy ass and slightly slim look)

Nudie TF DBC True to size (Saggy as well but nice and skinny looking)

Nudie RR greycast True to size (regular fit, regular looking, nothing special)

    Nudie SSDS (ltd) Size down

    Anyone got measurements of Flathead?

  5. What size is the Conny? I'm looking to get a Conny in Medium

I got the last one (they only had like 3 or 4 raws in stock..)

My conny is a Large, A bit spare room @ body but good arm length, it's good overall..

They still have got the prewash tho..

  6. I'm 17. have been wearing Nudies now for 1,5 years..

@ Johnny; I can afford my jeans (and other clothes) because of a weekend-job that makes enough to buy expensive jeans. So wearing Pace and Nudie selvage denim isn't such a problem for me..

Actually I can save ánd to nice things (I like go-karting or how to say that in english..)

    @ HS problems

I just graduated my high this year and now studying at a university (like all my classmates of 17)..

At HS I got names actually from friends who LATER WORE TIGHT JEANS.. but the girls in the same group liked me, so no problem. I had a bigger problem with the guys calling names about being Chinese Indonesian with Slightly longer hair.

If you're somebody that cares about fashion, people can see it. And if people see it -> They judge at first sight -> Get to know you better, and your look won't be so important anymore.

Get over it. I was self confident, have much friends, girls like it.

What are you worried about! There are always haters, so?!

I think my 2nd part has been said before, but just wanted to say it again..

  7. Thanks, Opie!

Since everyone in this thread has posted mostly vintage / vintage style jackets so far, I don't know if this counts... I had put this up in the supermarket long ago, but have also got one I own.

    Levi's RED Casual/Formal jacket - Fall/Winter 2001

13 oz. denim with a viscose/acetate lining with a celestial star and moon print. Lapels are trimmed in black leather. Arms are cut like a motorcycle style jacket with curved seams.
