best concerts you ever been to in superculture Posted December 10, 2006 i've been very lucky in having worked in the concert industry for the last ten years or so, i've gotten to see some AMAZING shows, soundchecks, private moments with bands, etc. i would guess i've seen 5000 concerts or more, many from back stage or the sound booth. some shows that stick out to me (you can clown some of them if you want. . .i aint scared) BS 2000 at the beehive theater in pittsburgh circa 2000 grateful dead 3/30/94 omni center atlanta last darkstar beastie boys and tribe called quest rose garden in portland circa 99 William Parker Quartet at the fez ballroom in portland 2003 or so Bobby Previte's Bump (feat. wayne horovitz on grand piano, steve swallow on bass. . .damn) Prince (musicoligy tour) stone temple pilots soundcheck at rolling rock town fair summer 2001 the roots band with slum village (r.i.p. jay dee), dead prez, and others 2000 Rokia Traore at the fez ballroom circa 2002 I could go on and on 0
