Bastille area/Rue Keller use to be good for some atelier indie designers, but I think alot of indies have opened belongside the canal that runs through central paris. Name exscapes me now...
Laudree for tea time and Cafe Ruc for some good food. BLAP!

I'm still rocking my SealKay one from 2005, its got exactly the same sleeve as the one above and is made from a wool mix. Hunting green , mini dogtooth checks. Bit too big for me tbh, so goong to have a bespoke one remade in HK in a sport tweed wool. I think OneTrueSaxon also had something similar a while back...

leather mulberry messenger?
I second you on that.
There were a couple of the AW06 Mulberry satchels that were SICK. Smart enough to rock in the City, cool enough for casual and not too "manbaggish". Good quality but pricey...

Off to Hong Kong in May, nearest I will be getting to japan this year. Can anyone suggest a shop in HK that sells Buzz Rickson or Japanese Avirex? I am after a L2 replica, any info would be appreciated!..

Just wanted to add that the quality and workmanship from China can be very very high and many their textile industry is fast catching up due to investment and know how from foreign companies.
Many Japanese labels manfacture in China and demand the highest standards so "Made in China" is as good as.

Travel HK twice a year, lived there for a while too and places open and close regularly. Nice Dim Sum I have had is Zen in Pacific Place (Admiralty) and a Chinese restaurant inside the Convention Centre (name escapes me now). Just come back from HK and this time had Dim Dum at local place "Treasure Lake", (at base of HK Escalator) off Queens Road Central. Local, very cheap.
Local diners are cheap and plentiful, had an amazing steak and straw mushroom ho fun dinner set in one such place at Tin Hau (HK) for HK$ 52.
Found 2 great local places in Causeway Bay - Go to Causeway Bay Plaza 1, on the 5/6 floor there is a great Korean, "Ah Rum..something" and also Causway Bay Plaza 2 for "Little Lamb" hotpot restaurant. Also at the back of Paterson St there is a Thai joint called Chilli & Spice doing HK'fied Thai food.. All very reasonably priced.

Posted
There has been a resurgence of interest into skate art from the 80s and 90s and also into artists such as Ed Templeton, Gonzales and Andy Howell.

Tee is by Anvil and is size Large, the teeshirt itslef is in fair condition but the print is in very good condition considering its age. Make a bid!
