  1. 1. Westvleteren Abt 12 - best Belgian

    2. JW Lees Harvest Ale aged in calvados (>5 years old) - best barleywine

    3. Stille Nacht (>5 years old) - second best Belgian

    4. Hair of the Dog Adam - second best barleywine

    5. Deschutes Brewery Hop Trip - best seasonal IPA, like drinking liquid hops

  2. Nothing is wrong with the pieces, its just a pretty steep markup. That coat he's selling for $380 costs $100 at the sample sale. It only cost like $440 CAD brand new last season as well.

Personally, I wouldn't support resellers who ruin sample sales for normal people that just want to buy a few things for themselves by buying up hundreds of dollars worth of stock to sell online at huge markups.

Guess a hustler's gotta eat, though...

    :D

i agree - really steep markup and does suck for the people trekking across town (or national borders..) to pick up some good, interesting stuff on the cheap.

  3. I've been thinking of heading up there from Seattle...

What kind of stuff did they have this time? Anything new or just hoodies and crewnecks?

    Thanks.

Just wondering if anybody has made it out to the sale yet or picked up anything? The majority of stuff they put out is in Medium. They have some pretty nice stuff i wish they had it in Large though. Lemme know.
  4. Damn - pretty sweet!

I've worn these everyday to a desk job for 5 to 6 months now. They were cold soaked with dr. bronners at approx 2 months. I had one repair in the crotch area, other than that they've held up fine. Proof you dont have to bike, skate, etc. to get reasonable wear.

I think they'll look even better after their first wash.
