how long did it take for the poking of sugar cane fibers to stop on your pair?

I haven't posted pics yet. My detail are pretty dull, nothing on the pockets except for an artist red tab, all artist buttons, copper doughnut rivets and I had Gun mix orange and yellow thread for the stitching.

Im thinking like 8-10 wears before the sugar cane stopped scratching?

It really wasn't that bad to begin with, noticeable but not brutal.

mechanic size 34 (sized up 2, waist may be a bit big but thigh/leg should be good)

38" inseam

pocket bags and fully lined rear pockets using #3 chambray

brass burr rivets

silver laurel leaf for top and middle buttons

i went back and forth for a while about the cinch back but eventually decided against it

i will definitely post up pictures once i get them. i placed my order last thursday so i am assuming end of this week or next week

You should be in good shape on sizing up with the shrinking, I've been wearing my #1's for about a week, 1st, I'd say the waist started on the small side and the other measurements were accurate, after a cold soak, everything shrunk around 8% and the waist stretched out to be right on the money.

I normally like the underdog but I hope Boston wins this year cause Timmy Thomas is a fellow Michigander. Plus I haven't followed the Canucks much since the yellow and black Russian Rocket years, but who could like a team with a shit talking goaltender that has been chased from two games of the final lolz.

FWIW I received the pair I ordered on 5/12 on 6/6.

Definitely longer than I expected as far as shipping time but the product seems top notch. I ordered the #1 fabric and sized up 1 which seems to be working out. the initial waist shrinkage was almost 3" but they stretched a good 1.5 on 1 wear.

A plus if you can read Thai or just use Chrome's translator. It's still pretty hard to understand after the translation though.

I'm glad to hear Im not the only one having trouble understanding, I've tried the fire fox and Chrome translator and am still pretty lost.

Agreed that it's a bit concerning about the glass issue. I do wonder whether these "bumper" cases will have any effect on the glass considering the point in that article about the previous glass being recessed with a bezel. Seems like the bumper cases do something similar.

I guess we'll see.

how do these jeans fit compared to samurai 710s? i wear size 31 in the samurais, but i dont know if i should get size 31 or size 32 in these. thanks!!!!!

Roy has a shitload of informative stuff on his site. If you have a pair of 710's that you like the fit of, measure them according to his methodology and compare that to the sizing card on the site, Im guessing the leg on the 710's is going to be slimmer.
