wow lamb, fast answer, thanks
also, how much shrinkage should you count in? if I look on the measurements for a 32" and its waist is "33, will it have the same measures in waist and rest as a 29" pre-shrink thats 31" in waist?

oke so I'm interested in purchasing a pair of samurai or maybe a pair of studio d'artisan and I think nudies slim jim is the ideal model. i wear 32/34 in nudies sj and I've checked BiG for measures but cant figure out which model is the closest one to a pair slim jims. so my question is if anyone can name the models from the most popular japanese brands like samurai, studio d'artisan, sugar cane, eternal etc that would be awesome
happy new year ppl

if I order a pair of samurai from BiG, I get them without the tab and arcurates but if I order from rakuten I get them with tab and arcurates, correct?

APC NS or SSDS? I want to get them both, but i dont know if they fade all too similar, help me out!
I was in the exact situation as you, and bought a SSDS because I already had a fit similar to the NS. The SSDS I picked up fade fast, which is typical for nudie. gonna pick up a pair of NS too for those moments I want a slim silhuette
my suggestion, buy both

Nudie Straight Sven Dry Selvage
how do you think they fit? I usually have a 31"/32" waist, and these are "32 but I had tried a 30" before which was a bit tight but definitely wearable. but when I bought these, only 32" were avaible and because of the superb price I just had to buy them. but its not like they're so big that they keep falling down. any ideas on how the fading will be effected because they're not uber tight in the waist?

APC
or
Nudie?
Dont count in the price, in Sweden they cost the same (~130euro)

nudie will certainly give you a quick fade. are you looking for just that? if not, i'd go for APC - less expensive, really sharp silhouettes on their new standards and cures.
well, a quick fade is a bonus as I see it. the thing is I already have a pair of bootcut ola dry, which are madhard to break in plus are bootcut, not the best for that thin silhouette look ;[] so the ultimate thing would be to have one slick pair for nice ocassions (NS) and one more street/loose (RR or SS)
but I'm tired of breakin these Olas in. compared to others who got nudies selvage it takes me 2 months to do as much fading as they do in one week.
but the pics posted here of faded apc's are sooo sick, are apc hard to fade? is it almost the same for apc, that it takes months to get a fade that would take around a week or two with nudie?

I just cant decide between APC and Nudie. Thinking about New Standard and Rescue or Regular Ralf and Straight Sven. I think they both fade almost the same, Nudie maybe a bit faster. Or I'll pick up a pair of both, slick NS and a bit looser RR/SS :/
decisions decisions!

lilldavid: I think that Carhartt's own store, Carharttshop, will probably get it first. Its located at Krukmakargatan 24-26 right ntext to Nitty Gritty.

Do slimmer model wear faster then more loose models? For instance lets compare Slim Jim and Straight Sven/Regular Ralf and New Standard and Rescue
Also which is easier to break in, Nudie or APC?

oke gonna bring this one back... for those of you that have both nudie and apc, which oen would you consider to fade more easy and/or better? I'm thinking of picking a pair of apc rescue's up but I'm also thinking about regular ralf dry selvage. I already have 3 pairs of nudies so I should go for apc but I'd like a pair that fades easy, unlike my pair of dry Ola which is so hard to break in.
So, APC or Nudie?
