  1. Anybody tried this:

    Thoughts?

Maybe I'm biased, but I love Coopers. Have only had this once or twice, and didn't particularly like it, but their Sparkling Ale is one of my favourite everyday type beers...if you get what I mean. Their Pale Ale is nice too, but a little weaker.

About to crack open a Coopers Sparkling Ale right now actually.

  2. im missing alot of my comfort foods right now so i would kill for a cuban sandwich with some yucateco on it, yucateco is hot but its good

Fuck I love this shit...so good. Haven't tried the green, but I eat so much of this stuff.

Just picked a whole bunch of habanero chillis, and am waiting for another 10 or so to ripen. Gonna get my girl to make me a nice hot sauce with them.

  3. i'm not familiar with the 17-55, but the 30 is a monster for that focal length. 77mm filter size. i guess it's necessarily big b/c of HSM.

Dunno about yours, but mine takes a 62mm filter.

  4. Yeah, I think I just jinxed myself. Was about to post about how I haven't had the err 99 problem on mine after 2 weeks of shooting, when I decided to go outside and take some shots of my dog instead. Sure enough, I get the err 99 straight away. Had to take out the battery for it to work again.

Apparently it has to do with cheap contacts on the lens mount.

  5. My calis were slightly large. I have a size 32 and they measured 33 inches across the waist, so maybe keep that in mind. I think someone else said they had the same experience recently, so it may be common with this (latest) run.

Can't help you with the NS thing, as I've never owned them

  6. jus bought of pair of jr cali no washs. i heard to buy in true waist so i got the 32 x 34 . little bit looser than i wanted. shoulda sized down one. any one know if the calis stretch a lot?

I had the same problem with my cali no wash. This season must be cut larger, as mine measured about 1 size larger than tagged. They haven't really stretched after a couple of months of wear, though. Sized down one on my grey calis as a result, and these things are much tighter....more though the legs than around the waist.

  7. Oh, BTW (!)...I have 2 pairs of JR D2 Sorrows, and a pair of selvage Calis if anyone needs measurements (32x32). I know what a bitch it is to buy online, so I'd be more than willing to help if anyone knee.d.sssss.

  8. I bought some Cots grey Calis through the Julian Red webstore. Unfortunately there is a delay with customs in Sweden, and UPS in Australia are passing the buck. I'm hoping Julian Red will reply to my email, otherwise I'm picturing a long, drawn out, painful process.

  9. Been djing for a while now (7 years?). Setup is 2 x 1200s, Rane ttm56, and serato.

Tried cd decks, and hated them...nowhere near as tactile as vinyl. Haven't bought much actual vinyl in a while, as I don't really play enough to justify it. Sold off a lot of shit, but still have a crate of the freshest Chi ghetto house, and another couple of crates of hip hop and various other shit.

    Mostly MPee3 these days...

  10. Many years ago...sat morning...peacefully sleeping in...open eyes slowly...blink...something covering eyes...massive.hairy.fucking.spider. Huntsman to be precise. Flung that fucker across the room, it hit the wall and died. Hate spiders. The end.

  11. This is very sad. Still have his very first record from many years ago. Never met him personally, but we emailed back and forth about bringing him down to Sydney. Very positive guy, who was totally dedicated to what he loved. So sad.

    RIP
