  1. I have an original pair of V's, and they are my fav pair of shoes ever. But alas, I've beat the shit outta them. So would be nice to get a fresh new pair. But it sucks that they re-release it, because now people won't break their necks to look at my kicks like they use to.

BTW how much does a fresh old pair go for?

  2. My mom is going to London on a business trip, and says she will bring me something back. She wants to know what I want. I'm not sure what I want :)

I'd only want her to buy me something if it's something I couldn't otherwise get here in Canada. Any ideas?

And if not, does anyone like the Burburry Aniversary polo (long sleeve black)

  3. I've never had a pair of raw before (want one SOOOOON but still don't know enough yet), so this whole skrinking thing confuses the hellllll out of me.

I'm a size 34 for most jeans. If I cant fit a jean, it's becuse my legs are too muscular. So let's say I bought a pair of raw/dry denim in a 34, does that mean it is exactly 34 when it's dry?

And if it's going to shrink hella, will it stretch BACK to a 34?

  4. If it's just for this winter, I suggest you not drop $400 on a jacket, because that would be a waiste. And if it's for more than just one winter, I'd invest some more and find something really nice that will last you a couple seasons.

  5. Why not get some converse chucks?

It's the extreme of casual. Trendy and retro, yes (I have a few pairs), but one of the least impressive shoes in history. They are almost too simple. And I've come soooo close to busting my ankes in them. Very cleaply made.

I need something that will look casual, but still pretty pimping and classy at the same time. Something in suede/leather and in black, grey, white, or a combo. I'm trying very hard to steer away from colour, it's so tempting.

  6. I need some serious help finding the right pair of shoes to suit me. I always have nice kicks, but I think I buy them because they look awesome as a piece themselves (like my Babestas I picked up in SoHo 2 years ago before they became the poser uniform). They go with like nothing I have (except a couple multi-coloured polos).

My style is like casual/dressy. But still always casual. White T-s, black sport shits, nice denim, Belstaff biker jacket for spring, black peacoat for winter. Basically alot of black, white and grey, except I go nuts with colour in the summer. I've been wearing my black leather work shoes to the clubs (cuz that's all I have other than a few random pairs of kicks), but I need something more.

    Anyone have suggestions?

  7. Well the only reason I ask was because I'm Canadian and would rather support Canadian retailers/designers if they actually have nice stuff. Guess this one just doesn't. And it's funny because it seems that everyone who wears their stuff looks completely gay. And I thought gay people were usually much more fashionable/trendy than most people.

  8. Canadian company, based out of Montreal... I've never purchased anything from them before...just wondering if anyone has experience with Le Chateau and what their opinions are.

  9. its weird...i find myself smoking even if im not craving a cigarette. sometimes i could just be at home bored and ill light one up just for the sake of being outside and getting away from the shit i have to do inside.

    meh.

Totally bro, I'm the same way...

  10. I'm torn between smoking and not...

I love smoking. Sometimes I totally embrace it, and I smoke a pack in a single night at an afterhours club, smoke a quarter ounce of pot in a week, chill on a nice Cohiba Esplendido, or pass around a nargeela hose with good friends. Totally in love.

But it's a love hate relationship, one that I am not addicted to, and one I can give up at the drop of a hat. And I do. Sometimes I'm like "wtf am I doing? I'm just killing myself" and I stop for months at a time.

But there is nothing like pounding back beers and sucking down on cigarettes when your stressed after a few hard weeks of work or exams. And "do you have a light" is easily one of the best ice breakers of all time.
