yeah, i think im going to have to get these a little shorter than usual to rock the blue (i usually do about two or three cuffs and that would kind of kill the point)

ande whall 001 grifters - about 7 months wear, 1 machine wash cold water with hang dry at 6 months.

pure blue japan 005 blacks - about 8 months wear, initial hot soak hang dry, machine wash hot water with machine dry at 4 months, machine wash hot water with machine dry at 6 months, machine wash hot water with machine dry at 8 months

warehouse jeans contest 660 - about 7 months wear, 1 initial hot soak, hang dry, machine wash hot water with machine dry at 3 or 4 months, machine wash hot water with machine dry at 6 months.

got my black grifters the other day, will post comparative fit pics with my 7 month blue grifters soon....

got to say ande, the belt loop selvage is a very classy touch...

yeah, i'm not 100 percent sure, but i dont think the STFs were an option when poly got his.

did you ever give the sample pair the soak?

i'm sure a lot of people are interested in how much this denim shrinks.

So.. Considering this is new denim we have no idea about how it reacts to a soak.

I'm going to wait another week and then i'm going to soak the final sample and see if it shrinks at all.

In the meantime, you all have one more week of the jean still in it's raw form at the store if you want to try it on. The sample has been tried on now about 50 times.

Mine are like that too... it looked a little weird for the first month or so but once the other lines started coming in you it wasnt noticeable.

slackers are not tight by any means but the ends of the pocket bags are still slightly visible. I think I'm just going to have to cut them off.

they don't look excessively long, i think you can just wear them as is without a hem... plus the inseam will shrink up after the first wash
