how much do you guys sacrifice for a nice piece? do you tolerate an uncomfortable waist on jeans? tight shoulders on a jacket, all if it looks good?

i was just wondering because i have jackets that are fine worn, but when i stretch my arms out in front all the way, they feel tense in the back. Any experiences like this?

I bought a washed jacket, but it fits kinda tight. I was just wondering, would the "soak and wear" method stretch it just right, or does that only work on dry denim?

i just got a jean jacket from gap, one wash. two questions!

first, it's a little tight when I stretch my arms out infront, but the shoulders seem perfectly placed, butmaybe i'm wrong. where are the lines on the shoulders supposed to lay on ur actual shoulders? And will they stretch like pant jeans?

Clarks Wallabees, I was wondering whether the crepe sole is durable? It looks to me as if they'd wear off instantly like an eraser. Are they durable? How much do they wear out over how much time? thanks
