They look great for a 2nd try with little sewing experience and I completely know what you mean about wanting to punch the sewing machine. Just keep sewing and you'll figure it all out. btw this is dane the dude working at the shoestore.

hello gentlemen,
i'm trying to get ahold of some dry/undistressed 19cm jeans. I know the DH sizing is a bit funky, and am wondering if some one can answer some questions. How much can the denim stretch? Is there a stretching difference between the italians and the japanese? is there a weight difference between the two? are the waist sizes the same between the two? I'm don't know if I should get a pair of 30 or 31's. I wear size 32 in Nudie slim jims, 30 in diesel, and i think typically 32. I went to barneys (where they told me they dont carry odd sizes) and tried on a 32, it was huge, and tried on a 30 which was pretty tight. i'm not sure if i couldnt get the clasp shut or if i didnt want to damage the jeans. I want the jeans to stay pretty tight/slim. so if anyone has any advice, that would be awesome.cheers

motorcycles caused me strife

Been lurking for quite a while, but just got an '81 CB750. Had the title transfered today and so thought it was a good idea to figure out how to ride the thing. I was scared shitless driving it home after buying it as I've never driven a road bike before and thought every car on the road was going to veer into me unexpectedly. But damn is it fun. I've been driving a yamaha vino for the past year and it feels so nice to be going faster than 30 mph. Fare warning to anyone with a pair of skulls, I felt like my balls being shoved into my stomach while riding this thing. Skinny jeans are not for motorcycles apparently. The only experience driving a shifting bike are the times my uncle's ranch on the atv's but its about the same, clutch, shift, throttle. minus the possibility of being clotheslined by a barbwire fence (not fun) but there aint no barbwire in the city and I think motorcycling is my new favorite hobby.
