Thanks guys. Cerulan it is for our first 4 days then! We will go to Seoul for 5 days after that and be back in Tokyo for another 5 days before going home. I would like to change hotels for the second period to switch location a bit. . Any other good areas/hotels to consider? (also Seoul hotel recs? I have looked at Marriot, and IP so far)

Hi guys! I will combine Seoul with a Tokyo trip this July/August. Never been to Seoul. Plans for the stay are the usual shopping/clubbing/eating. Any rec´s for hotels (and what area to live) would be great. Budget is up to around USD250/night. Thanks!

Ok, Great! I will look into Cerulean further although the good price I once found seems to be gone. For the area I beleive Granbell is nearby and cheaper. But pehaps that is a much worse hotel?

Thanks for answering! I prefer a well designed boutique hotels but the girlfriend likes high end business hotels (think four seasons etc.) So any of these would do. I will probably spend time in Daikanyama, Shinjuku etc. Good shopping and good eveneing/night life are priority but cop jawnz beats party in ropps . I have looked at The Tokyo Station Hotel also which seems rather old school luxorious and maybe could be nice?

Any advice for a cool hotel in Tokyo. Budget tops around USD300/night but cheaper would be great. I have looked at Park Tower and Cerulean so far. (I know there are a Tokyo Hotels thread but it´s updated in 2008)... Thanks! /K

Snow Gear - Ski, Snowboard, Alpine

Trying to find some decent clothing for alpine skiing. Brands considered so far are Arc´teryx (non veilance), Patagonia, Norröna and more. I want something more than a one-layer but not heavy inusulated pants/jacket. All the GoreTex, eVent and similar techy jackets and pants are wide and boxy even in size small. I am even considering womens stuff for better fits but there has to be something else out there??? Advice? Thanks!
  12. Measurements on Junya workwear pants and the comme jacket?

Hi, Going to Mexico City pover New Years this year. Never been before. We´d like to stay in Condesa preferably at a Boutique hotel or a local hotel at a decent price. After 1 week we´re going to La Ventana to Kite surf and I know nothing of hotels or other things there either. All lodging and other tips for what to do in Mexico are much appreciated! /K
