  1. I'm getting out of the denim game and selling off my pair of PBJs. These are the XX-011 model in size 31 that I purchased from Blue in Green and originally retailed for $285.

I've worn this pair on and off for 3-4 months before hanging them up. Denim is not mint/new but in truly great condition with plenty of life left. The lighting in the pictures exaggerate the amount of fading that has taken place.

This pair has the right amount of slub to it. With further wear, the 3D effect will only enhance and look better. As you can see, they have started fading nicely!

Pants have been hot soaked once and will remain stable at their current size. They've also been hemmed from their original length.

    $110 shipped or best offer.
Please PM me with questions! I'd love to help you out.

  2. as good as hendrix at woodstock is, for another AMAZING live hendrix recording, don't forget to check out 'band of gypsys.' Make sure you get the 2 disc version. It's basically hendrix with a more bluesy, solid rhythm section (buddy miles and billy cox) with less of his psychedelic, ear-shattering solos and more concise, but equally amazing guitar playing

  3. i have a written math test on thurs. if I pass it, I go to the spoken part of the exam. spoken math tests are a huge bitch.

I have been holed up in the library from morning to evening for the last 2 weeks with a bunch of friends that are taking it too and it's actually helped to study in a group.

maybe this is really common but, what is a spoken math test? i've never heard of or encountered one before

  4. when my roommate comes home and cranks the shit out of his amp and plays guitar. it'd be one thing if he were any good, but he plays 10 times more than i do and he still doesn't have any rhythm. normally i'd say all power to him, but i've heard the exact same riffs for the past 4 months. not to mention his epiphone sounds like shit compared to my '57 gibson.

57' gibson? nice. what kind of music/style do you play?

ive got a fender strat MiM and a cheapo 15w marshall. i like playing classic rockish stuff, and for soloing, i go for a hendrix/gilmour style.

    back to the thread

there's probably a simple explanation for this but...

I absolutely HATE it when im on the subway and I see people get on the train carrying a bike and rolling it down the train car. isn't that why they have the bike? to ride to places? not to bring it along with you on the subway.

maybe it's a new fashion accesorry i haven't heard of yet: a stussy x schwinn collab

  5. carl: "Hi, (name), would you like to grab a cup of coffee after work?"

(name): *thinking* smiley mofo, sweet looking, coffee in public = harmless "sure"

    tada!

lol. coffee with carl. sounds completely innocent

what you would you guys do in this situation?

if a girl you break up with (and ended on good terms) wanted to go out with your best friend, would you feel comfortable with that? like, you and your ex are still friends and talk and stuff, but she wants to be with your best friend. i know that's basically the big unwritten rule (close friends going out with your ex, a BIG, BIG, no-no) but let's say you're over the girl. would it make sense to still feel uncomfortable with the two of them going out?

im kinda in that situation. i know my ex and i wont get back together, and im over her, but I still sometimes have a lingering feeling for her.

    what do yall think?

like someone said before, its easier to ask stuff on SF than to ask people you see everyday. it's been pretty rough for me, the past couple of months, and just as i thought things were looking up, i get hit with this situation.

sorry if i bore you guys with this stuff, i just need to hear some advice

  6. in my case, she broke up with me, though she still liked me alot (i still dont understand what happened). now, i still cant act the way i used to around her/talk to her at all because the breakup came unexpectedly, and i still have a thing for her, making things all awkward.

    this turned into my superconfessional...lol

  7. emaze

first of all, sorry to hear about your dog. I had to take care of my cousin's dog that had seizures every so often, it's a tough thing to go through. good luck with your situation.

As for the girl situation, im going through that right now. ive had to act all happy and as if nothing was wrong, but itll get you all heartbroken and sad soon enough. ive learned that if you still want to be friends, dont keep seeing each other like you normally do for some time. you need to kinda 'cool off' from each other. its a very hard thing to do, but it seems to be the only way. i wasnt sure what to do in my situation, but i ended up disappearing from her life. you end up confusing where to draw the line between friend and girlfriend, and, for me, it became too much to handle. I always had to go back to my 'usual self' around her (acting the way i always did) but keeping up the 'happy face bs attitude', like you said, really gets in the way of how you really feel inside.

kinda feel like dr.phil at this point...
